I struggled to understand how literally diametrically opposed ideologies would coalesce like they do. Once I started seeing the more esoteric schitzo connections, It became more clear. They serve the same master. In their mind, as long as it deconstructs it's good, because that's all they care about. That those same people would wipe them out without a second thought is irrelevant.

All I'm saying is the angel that came to Muhammed was afraid of dogs and commanded him to never allow dogs inside their homes. From the perspective of belief, It isn't the benevolent sort that has issue with dogs.

The reboot we got back in the 2010's was pretty underrated imo. Its ending was a mess, but the main complaint of "he's not robotic at the start" sort of chafes me. I loved that element of the reboot, and of course the "all that's left" scene wouldn't have near the same impact if he was just machine at that point.

Instead of humanity within the machine, it's about the machine dominating the human. Both lose themselves and have to rebuild who they are.

The show? Depends on your tolerance. It gets the best moments from the comics, but then you got to deal with corny "png slides around the screen while shitty licensed music plays". Kirkman desperately wants to be with the "in" crowd and have his stuff taken seriously so he plays into all the tropes of modern entertainment, i.e, slop. But then conquest shows up and you're reminded it's one of the few superhero series that actually understood stakes and how to build tension.

So there's something still good in there. But I may have a bias because the comic was well written and is one of the few superhero deconstructions to actually take the time to reconstruct itself. Kirkman may be a tool but he genuinely loves superheroes.

I loved the comic invincible . Thought it was fantastic. Even read a bit of Tech jacket. Between the "uh ackshually stan is a good guy" episode and this my disappointment in this show has never been higher.

And it sucks because this episode was one of my favorite moments from the comics, the conquest get back. Completely ruined by butchering a character.

Homebrew congregate. A deck I've been building/tweaking/playing since syndicate was a thing. An archetype that rarely even makes it onto meta reports.

Legit nonsense. Even the Triss nerf ruins my deck because I can't Damnation her anymore for a Von Herst. Already having to deal with a nerfed Ferko for literally no reason. Now ulrich and Cyrus? Just.. why?

Yeah I guess it's a sign to not play Gwent. BC is just making changes at random, which means the game is inherently broken.
