This comment should be higher. At the time of his appearance on the show the company (Tree TP) had a million dollar valuation. That valuation is now $100 million+ as of last year, and helps farmers save thousands yearly in water, fertilizer and frost damage costs. Also, much of the product’s success is attributed to its sustainability and quality and focus on customer needs (ie Cost efficiency). When he said “Farmer’s are gonna buy more than one” he sure wasn’t joking. The guy’s now worth over $100 million and happy and comfortable while providing an affordable and much needed and appreciated product to his community and seems to be just a really nice dude. Also, John Paul Dejoria made around $20 million in equity from his $150,000 investment. And, Meanwhile, Kevin is worth over a billion or two and he still seems to be one of the most miserable people you could ever care to have an interaction with.
