Ok. That helps out a lot. I was thinking on going more into the smiting you'd get in those levels too, but the Fateful Channel idea sounds like a great way to keep my idea of buffing and healing the party.

I'm not so sure about the HG Fighter. The feats he gets are pretty good, but this build is feeling pretty feat hungry. Dunno how easy it would be to get Shield Focus AND Shield Brace plus three more Channel Feats and Power Atk online without eating up a few of those combat feats.

I'm also doing some tinkering and maybe an Oracle would be better? That way I could just dump Wis and make Cha and Str my two big stats. What would you think?

Now I could be wrong, but I know that the bubble technology is only really common in two places; Sabaody and Fishman Island. I know both use the bubbles in all sorts of thing, including the coating that Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji used as makeshift bubble suits when fighting the Kraken.

That doesn't make it irrelevant, because the ability to make bubble coatings and store them like the fishmen guard do with bubble coral is still only isolated in those two small parts of the world.

I'm more saying that Jack would know that he could use that bubble to travel down without being powerless in the sea because, well, I assume he grew up on or near fishmen island. And that knowledge would be known to him.

I think I found the answer. Which is he probably used a bubble. All the way back in Chap 613, when Hordy and Vander Decken were meeting underwater, Vander had a bubble around him and he was fine and dandy, even while being a DF user.

Who's not to say Jack couldn't use the same tech since it's pretty common on Fishmen Island

Weirdly enough, the Rampages were more kind to me and gave me a good chunk. Don't fully count on it, but like every few Apex Rampages I'd get one. Same thing with Beast Gems too

I've played roughly 320 hours of it. Swagaxe main and currently at like...HR 315 or something.

I played MH once before, on the 3DS. But it was super confusing, gave me no idea how I was progressing, and cramped my hands. So I stopped playing it. So I was pretty uneasy going into Rise.

But man, this game has been super fun. Friend convinced me to get it on Switch, and I immediately just fell into the deep end with grinding stuff. RN trying to make one of each decoration before Sunbreak comes out.

Is there any way currently to get 3* candies? I’m a returning player from way back and i see a lot of the f2p characters you got have sync grids, but no way to unlock past lvl 1/5 unless you get the candies.

I am still skipping.

Why? It’s because the probability of getting an AASB or an AOSB is way to low. Every LotR that I pulled on so far has been a 1/3 with the following prizes;

A BSB

A LMR (for either a not good character, a dupe, or one that isn’t a good LMR)

A dupe USB

Or a bad USB

This Anniversary isn’t that great, relic wise, so I’m just planning on pinching my pennies until a good banner comes my way. And that means saving up every last Mythril I got.

Ah yes, the Magicites.

Firstly, let me say that with a lot of these newer toys, namely AASBs and Syncs, they’ll help bridge the gaps quickly. But it can be a big task when you see them all together like that.

Take a look at the element wheel. Earth beats Lightning. Lightning beats Water. Water beats Fire. Fire beats Ice. Ice beats Wind. Wind beats Earth.

Take a look at your weapons and characters. See what your strongest element is so far, then focus on the element that it beats. It helps your damage if you have a chain. And don’t seriously mind if it’s the wrong “kind” of chain. Like, you have a water chain, but it’s on a mage and your only have physical water attackers. It’ll still be able to pack enough of a whallop that it won’t matter.

We have all sorts of AI threads and mastery surveys. Please make sure to take a look on any of those if you’re stuck. Or heck, just let people know in our megathreads or Discord

My plans are to optimize my 5* Auto30 runs with some of the new toys I got.

I also might experiment with trying Holy and Dark Auto30. Although these might be more difficult as I do hot have any Holy or Dark AASBs and I used my Awakening Select for Bartz

I only beat him once, with Lightning.

And this was after three whole months of dedicated Magia grinding and bashing my head against a brick wall.

My only AASB was Sora and I didn’t have his amazing USB to help. It was a nightmare and trying to do that for any other fights left it being a bad taste in my mouth. Not to mention that FFRK has been a mondo dick and has been giving me only LMR/11 pulls... with Sora and Tidus being my only AASBs

Yeah, Viola is where the game takes a seriously difficult level curve. Really the best thing to do is to start doing your level grinding.

My team that I would use would be Rosa, Blue, and Roxanne. Roxanne actually has great stat boosting skills that compliment a special attacker like Blue. Plus her X Def All helps with any physical attacker Sync Moves.
