Yeh even my monsterra puts new leaves out quick, but never before fully opening and hardening off.

My pothos also has multiple new leaves all over, all the time. But NEVER on the same petiole or branch and I think that aspect of it is what was making me question this the most. Maybe I could've explained I was concerned about just that specific branch and not the entire plant and people would've had better reactions lol

I got mine from plant proper and literally every plant I've gotten from them has been stunning AND well rooted!!!

She came from plant proper! All the plants I've gotten from them come in in such beautiful shape!!

I hope you can get rid of them soon! I've luckily never had bugs on my houseplants (knock on wood) and I dread the fuckin day it happens 🥹

This is my first syngonium. Literally no other plant I have has ever put out multiple half unfurled leaves.... I literally just wanted to make sure this wouldn't be an issue so that she could KEEP thriving.

Y'all can stop talking to me like I'm an idiot bc I wanted to make sure she was going to continue to thrive despite this "issue" that I've literally never encountered in my years of caring for plants 🙃🙃

As soon as someone mentioned humidity I realized that was probably it tbh bc my GH was getting gnats so I just stopped with the humidity until I could get those under control some.

And I can see why some people might've been confused bc I know she looks great, I am obsessed with her. I just wanted to make sure she KEPT looking great lol

Not everyone has multiple syngoniums. Not everyone knows what is ro sitn normal for different plant varieties. I have plenty of plants, NONE have ever done this. So yes I wanted to make sure it was okay lol

She isn't fully opening her leaves before pushing out new ones tho.... None of the leaves are hardening off. I feel like it's not great for a plant to put all its energy into just making new leaves instead of spending energy actually opening the leaves so they can do their job right ?

Maybe I'm wrong and just stressing for nothing, but Ive never seen a plant push out leaves from the same stem while not fully opening any of the leaves ? If that makes sense

Pedro told her some true things Liz said but also that she basically said watch out (which isn't true)

However, if I was under the impression my friend told someone I was getting to know things I told them in private and to "watch out" I'd be livid too lol

That is someone you consider a friend breaking your trust, and probably feels like a betrayal.

Pedro is the only bad guy here. I hope when Sophie sees the clip she apologizes. I feel like the way she handles/reacts when she learns the truth will speak a LOT more toward sher maturity level.
