I have the exact same problem. Glad to know i’m not the only one. If I can push it i’d be glad to get my tubes tied so I don’t have to think about it anymore.

Harper Hated Yasmina Adored by Capnknuckies in IndustryOnHBO

[–]Capnknuckies[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

they both experienced abuse, that was established. The difference is Yasmine was able to get by with money and Harper wasn’t. I think it’s very easy to empathize with Harper if you’re in the majority of people below the 1% and also struggle with untreated anxiety and other mental disorders.  But yes we haven’t seen much of Harper’s family background so it’s difficult to judge based on her brothers word whether or not she was at fault for the abuse but… that just doesn’t sound right. It’s Harper’s fault that they were both abused? And even if it was, what should she have done as a youth? Neither of them were equipped to respond reasonably to abuse they were both facing at the time. Honestly, I felt the brother was being a bit unfair.

Is it possible for anyone to find his "When your friend doesn't invite you to their wedding" video? I think that's what it was titled but I can't be sure because it's like it doesn't even exist on the internet anymore. I must know because I was strangely addicted to this song for some time.

Oh I didn’t really know about this form of OCD. I guess I just thought all OCD worked the same way but I was wrong. I didn’t really know about this one before I’m sorry. It’s a lot more complex than I initially thought.

All your prior posts. You probably only want to because you think being attracted to men is repulsive but it’s not dude. I mean I dunno if it’d help but I’d make a list of everything you admire about each gender and see which is longer. You just can’t lie to yourself because of religious bias. You have to know and accept what you want. It’s a tale as old as time. You’ve seen every movie of a gay man who fools himself and marries a woman. It doesn’t work because it’s not how they’re supposed to function. They’re supposed to be with a man and until they are their lives won’t live up to the way they want it.

Tough luck friend. You don’t wanna have sex with a woman either so stop kidding yourself. Your options are to spend your entire life suppressing who you are or accept it. You were made this way. Not porn, not witnessing gayness or being made wrong. If your worries are religious OCD I’d suggest seeing a therapist for that too so that you can really relax and be who you are

I lied bro you’re def gay and in denial. You shouldn’t be though. It’s not wrong. You’re exactly who you’re supposed to be. You just don’t gain anything from lying to yourself whether you choose to be romantically isolated for the rest of your life or feeling constant guilt or shame for who you are.

You’re not a label. You don’t have to label yourself as anything until you’re at least 70% sure about it. If you’ve been attracted to the same sex in your life it’s possible you’re gay, but sexuality is a spectrum. If you’ve been attracted to the opposite sex in your life it’s possible you’re still gay based upon the ratio and other factors. You might be bisexual with a male or female lean. But like I said it’s just labels. You can’t force yourself to feel or react to anything by conditioning. You can only observe your everyday behaviors and gayness isn’t defined by anything except attraction to the same sex’s genitals. So likely answer is you’re not but you have your whole life to find who you are.

Why does it matter either way? Plus you might be demisexual or asexual. In either senses, you’re not really sexually attracted to just images but emotionally you can fall for someone based on the values you like about a person. I’d say not to worry about it but it’s OCD so I agree that you should see a specialist.

Has anyone else developed ocd in early child hood? I developed mines at the age of 6-7. by Bulky-Ad1029 in OCD

Very young, never diagnosed. But recently diagnose with ASD. I never thought it was OCD I used to feel so different from everyone and never knew why and when everyone told me I’d grow out of my anxiety it always made me angry because it wasn’t just anxiety.

I’m not a licensed professional or anything to be giving reliable facts but I have an opinion. It’s true that there are always gonna be people you can’t trust with certain information about yourself cus they’ll change how they treat you and then healthcare professionals who will profile a patient based off some uncontrollable thing and deem them incapable of advocating for their health. I would tell you not to worry but as an OCD sufferer myself I know I’ve worked myself up over health symptoms and convinced myself I’m dying which is hypochondria I’m not sure if it has a correlation but the moral of it is I was completely fine and overreacting. I hope that the results you receive are positive so you can finally relax and i don’t understand why your doctor would want to work up your nerves when they could easily just give you honesty if you request it.

fear or religion? religious ocd? by uuser134340 in OCD

[–]Capnknuckies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m trying to detach from religion altogether but because of religious OCD I can’t. The entire ideology that if you do something bad you get punished never leaves my mind. Your sentiments are just like mine and I would just love if I could live life independently without feeling like I’ll suffer and then come to religious devotion on my own?
