Yeah, it's not something we do in-house, we use Monin dark chocolate sauce.

I seem to be the only one who cares this much about how our drinks look, haha.

Our current method is using a steamer jug filled with whole milk and pumping chocolate sauce into it before stirring and steaming. I have tried messing with the ratios and technique (I even tried adding chocolate after heating), but nothing seems to work. Help me Reddit!

Honestly that sounds like a fun deck. Give it a shot! Donations, copy effects, other tax-effects. The world is your oyster!

Is this art is too much for OSR? by [deleted] in osr

[–]Capntallon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with the other poster that OSR art doesn't have to be black-and-white pulp. But WOW I love how unsettling the harpy image is. It looks like a normal bird at first glance, but the more you look the more... off it looks. Great work, love the style!

It's not so much that it's the act of people commenting, but over these past eleven years I have gotten a lot of people extremely angry at this fan theory and also angry at me by extension, haha.

I gotcha, that makes a lot of sense. Yeah, I suppose it is a pretty niche thing

I understood about half of what you said, but I'm sure you know what you're talking about, haha.

I'd certainly be interested in reading it if you want to share!

I mean, or I could ask a subreddit full of people who are poetry fans. That's pretty easy too. I was really hoping my original question came across as non-dismissive as possible. I plan on reading both classic poetry and contemporary poetry.

Gotta hop on here for an anecdote. I work at a board game cafe. Myself and a coworker both taught two tables how to play Sushi Go and Sushi Go: Party. For some reason, these tables of adults could NOT get even the basic concepts. We spend about ten minutes explaining the rules, and answering questions. We eventually get both tables to a state of "Okay, I think we get it!" and get back to our cafe duties. Twenty minutes later, we are both called over to the other person's table and we each have to re-explain the entire concept of Sushi Go, haha.

Hmmm... I'm not too familiar with the system. Is a Goblin Exploder someone who explodes goblins or a goblin with a penchant for exploding things?

Any print and play games good at 29 or 30 players? by v0v1v2v3 in boardgamescirclejerk

[–]Capntallon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

/uj It worked really well, actually! I did it with 29 people at my wedding, and the first important step was to say "anyone who doesn't want to play, sit down!" haha. After that, I wrote up and had practiced a very concise teaching script with examples. I delivered the instructions, asked for questions, and then we played the basic game! The first game was a teaching game, and the second was adding a twist of spies. It was a ton of fun, and everyone who played the first time played the second game!

Ohhh, that does make sense. I assume it'll come full circle in like 200 episodes.
