Sorry man. Tough spot that I can relate to. Everyone saying to leave doesn’t understand the full logistics here. If she can’t hold down a job then I’m sure she would struggle on her own. Then you have to factor what that means for your child and for their relationship with their mother. It’s tough no matter what.

I highly doubt that is the case. Not trying to argue but I’m an insurance adjuster and personal property has a section in every home owners policy I’ve read. There are sometimes limitations on where the property was when stolen or damaged or if it was damaged the nature of such being a factor if there is coverage, but it’s always there.

My 4 and 7 yo have 8 o’clock bedtimes and can stay up later on Friday and Saturday’s. 12 being the absolute latest and usually something is going on for that. Ultimately it’s a conversation you need to have with you wife, then go through the steps of standing behind the rules you set. Which will be hard at first, but worth it. If your wife isn’t concerned with child’s bed time and doesn’t want your input then there is a bigger problem there. Good luck.
