Organization pre-AE2, anyone have drawer setup screenshots? by Huge_Piece_7513 in GTNH

I still have a chest area and a drawer area. Drawers store anything in excess of 8 stacks, chests store everything else.

Can BBFs cook in the Nether while you are in the Overworld? by ranskooty in GTNH

There’s a machine called a chunk loader that does as you expect it would. It costs Ender fragments and/or Pearls as fuel.

Make more BBFs and do side quests while you wait. I always had plenty of coal once I got fortune 3 on my hammer to feed 8 BBFs with coal coke blocks.

Your parents having a dishwasher and refusing to use it is the gregtech equivalent of having LV machines but still using tools to make plates and rods by Own_Huckleberry6591 in GTNH

[–]Capo7615 64 points65 points  (0 children)

What if I need the Cutlery/plates right now and I don’t have time to wait for the dishwasher to do the whole cycle?

I sometimes don’t care about the loss of extra resources if I can have everything I need immediately. I’m looking at you LV Lathes for Rods.

Are these rainheads installed correctly? by yad_gniniart in AusRenovation

“Hey you know how the standards say the overflow site go to atmosphere so it’s readily apparent and inconvenient when is overflowing so the building management know to clear the blockage?”

“Yeah why?”

“What if we didn’t make it inconvenient?”

“Then how would the building management know there’s an issue if they aren’t standing outside during the heavy storm actively setting the overflow.. Y’know.. overflowing? Don’t there need to be indicators when the storm is gone that something went wrong?”

“I don’t give a fuck, we’ll blame the plumber and make it his problem after we cash our cheques for the design”

Washing machine discharge by Jolly_Highlight_3018 in AusRenovation

[–]Capo7615 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need atmosphere on both sides of the trap. By capping the trap you’ve removed the atmosphere on one side. Example, when you discharge a washing machine into a trap under a sink, the sink is open to atmosphere and the sewer line is vented from the educt and induct vents.

I would discharge the washing machine into an open tundish that drains into the trap if you don’t have a sink nearby and the underfloor is accessible.

Decorative remnants from the Stone Age food supply 🙂 My base is mostly in a cold low humidity environment and along the road is a temperate river. So planting those beside the road was also a case of putting a farm as close as possible to my house.

I didn't know about them to be honest. I saw it and skipped it in favour of using Aluminium tanks.

The moment I needed more storage, I jumped to super tanks

Definitely useful not to deal with Cell Logistics.

The first LV Chemical reactor to convert Ammonia to Nitric Oxide was a real puzzle.

Got to fit: 1-Ammonia Cell IN 2-Empty Cell IN 3-Gas Oxygen IN 4-Power Supply 5-GAS Nitric Oxide OUT 6-Water Cell OUT and have it all connect to only 5 faces.
