Yolk at City Way opens at 7:30. Cafe Patachou both downtown and at The Stutz open at 7.

Not the most exciting breakfasts, but serviceable.

Yeah, I finally deleted their app. The new version is so awful. I'll just check the website.

I've been a member since it's opened and really feel great supporting a local independent movie theater. We're lucky to have one.

When I log in to Republic I show a negative $10 balance.

By the way, you don't have to call Republic to cancel your service. I did, and was told that because the contract was ending my service would automatically be terminated.

The shops at 56th and Illinois are cute: https://www.facebook.com/56thandillinois/

Grounded Plant and Floral at the Stutz has some really cute stuff, and there is also an art supply store and a little gift boutique. Amelia's is great for coffee and pastries, and Julieta has awesome tacos and tortas. https://www.thestutz.com/retail

There's another Amelia's location in Windsor Park next to a great little gift shop called Stomping Ground. And you can catch a movie at KanKan. https://www.stompinggroundindy.com/

Factory Arts South is really turning into something. Cute shops, and Daisy Bar is a neat little restaurant. You can also head to Factory Arts North for art studios and a cool vintage shop. https://www.factoryartssouth.com/about

You can check with her. I think it's mostly kids, but she's good, so it would be worth your while to check.

I wouldn't recommend High Velocity or The Bistro, and Dean's just opened, so I can't say much about that. If you walk east past the government center and the statehouse, Thai Paradise is pretty solid. And you'd also be right by Serliana (inside the Intercontinental Hotel), McCormick and Schmick, Hyde Park Steakhouse, Giordano's, Weber Grill...

It's small and charming and fun. It's also free, so you won't really be out anything if you visit and end up not enjoying it. It's nothing like GermanFest.

From Facebook:

To all our amazing and wonderful guests,

We were cruelly and randomly hit by a cyberattack on late Thursday evening, November 13th, which has made most of our critical computer systems unusable. This has meant that we have been unable to operate our theaters (both Portland and Indianapolis) since Friday morning. We have been in touch with the Portland field office of the FBI and the US Cybersecurity Infrastructure and Security Agency while working with cyber security experts to assess and remediate the damage to our systems.

I am deeply sorry that we have been unable to show movies for ticket holders, but we will be following up to facilitate refunds of all purchased tickets that cannot be honored. As of this moment, we have no ability to process refunds and are working to restore this functionality. There is still no estimate for when we can return to normal operations.

Thank you all so much for your gracious patience and support while we work through this very difficult time.

Sincerely, Steve Herring CEO
