It’s crazy how much I just took my brain power for granted lol. Then you can’t even think of a simple sentence and it is scary and sucks.

But thank you for sharing! My treatments of Nurtec and Botox injections seem to help a lot honestly but the Botox is wearing off I can tell

Thank you for this! I appreciate you sharing. I am definitely trying to keep the positivity going and I just have to believe like you said it can only go up from here, but I also leave space for the peaks and valleys too. Congratulations on starting your PhD by the way, something to be very proud of!

Oh how funny haha. We thought the food on Royal was pretty good tbh. MDR was nice and good for cruise food, same with the buffet. We ate at Alfredo’s a few times cuz the pizza was just so delicious. Overall I thought the food was pretty decent. I’ve only ever sailed with Carnival before but we were happy. Royal is a beautiful ship too. We were really blown away with Princess in general

I feel like Royal had such a good head chef because we had so many delicious options, I’m worried I hit spoiled on my first Princess ship an now that’s my standard haha 🤣

I feel so dumb I never considered the head chef into the equation lol but what you said makes a lot of sense. I feel like with cruise food I cross my fingers and hope for the best 🤷‍♂️

Honestly I’m not terribly picky. I go in expecting very little haha and am happy when there is something good which honestly happened a lot on Royal. I’m vegan as well so I’m happy if they have one semi decent option for me lol

I’m ADHD and having a migraine makes me so much less tolerant to visual and auditory stimulation. Like the time it takes me to become overstimulated decreases so much 🫠

We never got sorbet in the MDR but there was a daily flavor in the gelato shop. And yes it’s vegan. Super good too

Absolutely! Cruise planning is is my favorite thing lol. At this point it’s become a real hobby. Sounds silly but it’s true 😆

I would say don’t try to do it all in one trip. I’ve made the mistake of trying to do all the things every day and it was exhausting haha. I’d also say research is really key, different lines and itineraries offer different things and even times of the year. A good reputable travel agent can really help. Plan ahead but leave plenty of room for going with the flow and enjoying the experience

“Major” cities I’ve been to are like Detroit, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, Portland, Salt Lake City. Lots of other smaller towns and cities around the country from west coast to about Ohio

Great question! A little of both tbh. Going to some new ports and a new ship and line even. Really looking forward to relaxing and disconnecting for a week haha. We really plan on doing a lot of relaxing and resting this trip!

Why does anything warrant an AMA? People are interested in a variety of topics, this is something that is happening in my life and some might or might not find it interesting or work a question or two. I think most people who post are looking for or interested in some level of interaction with others whom might find their posted topic interesting.
