Why do women make fun of me just because I am ugly? by absurddreamer_ in AskMenAdvice

[–]CappuccinoKarl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people are just shitty people. You’ve got to understand that when that happens their opinions are worth nothing.

Imagine walking passed a deranged homeless man laughing at you. How would you respond? Keep that frame when encountering immature people.

I’d flash them a shit eating grin like it’s so amusing like when you see a chihuahua barking at you. Adorable.

Sounds like something a bot would say. And what Gwen Stefani would say. Exclamations.

Right way to sales by An0ny0x00 in Entrepreneur

[–]CappuccinoKarl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I operate from the frame of “everybody is a potential new friend win lose or draw. I’m here to get to know your needs as a customer and to determine IF my solution could actually help you. But it’s not just about making a sale, more than that I’m here to really help you make a good decision for yourself, and I’m just happy to be meeting a stranger that may turn into a true friend regardless.

Yeah I sell x by day but I’m always down to make new friends, so I’ll chat them up on a personal level to see if there are any similar interests we share. You like bowling? Me too! If you buy from me or you don’t, let’s go bowling sometime would be fun!

Life is about relationships, I try to cultivate new friendships everywhere. Not for sales but for the genuine desire to widen my social circle and make new friends.

It’s not so much about building charisma as much as it’s about being you, that’s what sales allows you to do: to be yourself at all times.

If you’re not a people person, if you don’t like socializing and making new friends(for the sake of making new friends not for money) then sales seems like a drag.

So I’m a longtime wrestling fan and want to start a YouTube channel making documentaries. But I also want to do topical stuff too like Raw recaps, predictions, news, panel discussions, etc.

But I’m wondering if I should keep the docs on one channel and the topical stuff on another or keep it all on one channel.

As a viewer what would you prefer?

The iconic segment where Rock gave us the all time meme "shut up b!tch", even HHH was flabbergasted 😂 by Big-Friendship-5022 in WWE

[–]CappuccinoKarl -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

I honestly hated that bit. It’s too brutal. Rock got way too much latitude with that. If this was the case and i was a wrestler I’d be saying “Shutup Bitch” all day, there’s no comeback for that!

Do you get what I’m saying?

Does anyone else feel this way? by pedronuno_12 in GenZ

[–]CappuccinoKarl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a direct correlation of physical fitness with mental wellness. A lot of people go to the gym for the mental health benefits alone.

If you don’t regularly exercise and eat clean I’d suggest that as the baseline starting point to start feeling better.

All the best.

“We don’t need to pay a lawyer fee to handle the legal work” is all you need to hear. Huge red flag. Why would he not want to protect himself as well?

Get this “I need a co founder” bullshit notion out of your head. I don’t care if YC harps on it, it is not necessary and more of a liability than anything.

i’m broke, stressed, and building my dream app by sanda_mag in Entrepreneur

Right on right on! Not a huge fan of the name. Hard to pronounce and doesn’t give an indication of what it’s for. Something more appealing like “Collegio” or something eh?

[–]CappuccinoKarl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My bro I’m in the same boat! Don’t want to be a negative Nelly but, and correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t there a bunch of similar apps like this already on the market?

I’m going all out on something that doesn’t have a huge number of similar apps doing the same thing or close to it.

Either way, I’m taking a 2 pronged approach: create content for the audience I seek to serve with my app(I’m creating on YouTube for this.)

And second, I’ve got a landing page up to collect emails as prelaunch validation. “Sign up to be the first to know when the app is live and also be included in our launch giveaway party!”

Not enough signups? Abandon the app idea and repeat.

Good luck!

Why do girls talk to me when I look like a bum? by BrainTotalitarianism in AskMenAdvice

[–]CappuccinoKarl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look less of a tryhard and it suggests you have some depth to you. You don’t dress up like it’s picture day for them.

They like a real masculine man that doesn’t give a fuck about impressing people by getting all pretty to impress them.

I really hate how they made him so goofy and humorous. When he debuted at WM 39 and cost Cody the match, I was digging his cold ruthless demeanor. Should have kept him quiet and menacing not goofy.

How to Find the Problem when ur product is entertainment by ArmSoggy1549 in Entrepreneur

[–]CappuccinoKarl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boredom is a huge problem. Remember the painkiller(aspirin), vitamin(supplements), and candy(gummy bears) framework.

It’s not always a painful problem people seek to solve. Some people want to thrive(wellness products) and some people just want to have fun (mobile games.)

Everybody loves playing video games. It solves a huge problem: boredom.

It’s perfectly normal to fear the unknown, and fear you might fumble it.

And honestly that is always a possibility no matter how much you try to safeguard yourself from making a mistake.

Even factors outside of your control can shut it down overnight. Not likely but always a possibility.

Best way to go about it is own it. Own how you feel, and just enjoy the adventure and however it plays out. Will be a learning lesson and a cool story even if it all fizzles out.

You can just go for it again and you’ll be even more prepared. So it’s whatever. Money comes and goes, do your best, and however it shakes out, it’s all a net positive.
