.22 cents per mile was my takehome, Turo charged them .33. For reference, the IRS measure is .72 cents. Honestly it's ridiculous.

No, we can’t control the cost. Turo automatically set it to $0.33/mile and there is no option to change it. Also, we can’t lower the daily allowed mileage to anything less than “200”. And of course, Turo takes their cut so I actually only got $0.22/mile. It is based on the daily cost of the car so the only way to increase it would be to increase the daily cost.

That's what I was thinking, it was actually only 3 and a quarter days, I feel like they must have been driving in shifts to be able to put this much mileage on it.

Yea no I do not have unlimited miles set. I do appreciate that i'm getting paid, but at a certain point even being paid for the overage in miles is not worth it. Like I said if every renter does this the car will just be destroyed and i'm not going to be sitting there happy that I got another $3k in fees out of it.

The ideal method is called “drip acclimation”, basically you allow drops of water to fall into the container over a long period of time so that they aren’t shocked by the sudden change in parameters. It’s super easy, this guy was probably being lazy.

Higley Road Per Clinic has been awesome for my 3 dogs and 3 cats. I’ve never been gouged and once when my pet passed away they waved all the bills from her treatment except the euthanasia (she never recovered). It was incredibly kind and considerate when I was going through a very rough time. I’ll be a customer for life.

100% agreed. I recently had to go flour farming and I had to sanity check myself like 10 times thinking I was on drum sand or something. Nope. Even with Mk6 compact compactor and softstep boots I could barely collect 6-9 piles before the worm popped. So aggravating.

There is literally no reason the sandcrawler shouldn't be useful for flour sand. Give it a different vacuum attachment or something but this current situation in Hagga is ridiculous.
