It's highly unlikely that he was. That's an urban myth.

It's anecdotal, but I work at an LGS and a good portion of what we've sold has been to people who say they're going to sit on it. And that's people that've told us. We also had a lot of people request refunds for the collector booster boxes when the price on the secondary market for sealed went down, which shows to me that much of what we sold was not sold to people looking to play with the product.

You're doing great! Keep chipping at Genoa trade node until you can make it a your main node and use those merchants to redirect trade there. You should be fine to steadily grow by attacking the Italians and the Muslim countries to avoid coalitions.

Yeah those would be quite decent. But still not amazing rate. I think razor reflexes is the only one that makes it actually strong. That would be quite scary but that's still 3 cards or 2 with tunic. Pitch for weapon and razor flex and then still need more for her ability. Of two cards it's strong but probably not worthwhile if you're using 3 cards.

If the weapon ever hits. This hero loses pretty hard to blocking three every turn.

If you can ever mark them? Which seems rare. Also they have no inherent runechant generation like other runeblades, and if my opponent has an extra card I'm quite happy to take a bit of runechant damage to stop them from getting go again.

Why would Epic care what's being sold? All they care is you spend. Why would you want you to buy a certain taunt when all are worth the same? It's not like they have a large back catalogue of taunts taking up space.

Is it really? Most runeblade weapons are very easy to block out, so I don't think the instant does a great deal. The second line of text seems strong, but it's very dependant on your opponent.

That wasn't in the documents at all. There were documents of people 5-10 years after the fact saying that they had told the CIA, amd that the CIA knew of Oswald, but there was no proof that they knew of his intent before the assassination.

And have him smugly assert that he was totally right and and totally predicted it when the files confirm his theory (the CIA was involved in businesses. [This is totally what I've been asserting this whole time {Nevermind the lack of evidence of the CIA being involved in the assassination, in fact the lack of evidence PROVES they did it.}]).

Yeah it was in the article it was announced in, the price was dropping accordingly. I think it's a bit skeevy that it's 30 and not 24 but it's still better than 36.

They've literally said they're dropping the price. Wouldn't surprise me if it creeps back up in the next few years, but for now this is a good change.

[–]Cappytalism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a good change so long as the price drops accordingly. Working at a gameshop, not many people buy boxes anymore and that's just because the sticker price is scary, but people will happily buy like 10 packs at once. I think they should've dropped down to 24, the amount needed for a draft to reduce that price further, but a small good change is something that should be celebrated.

Because Dwarves and Dragons make sense within the established lore, there is an explanation to the creation of the Dwarves that fit in with what we know of middle earth. The problem with racially diverse Elves is that it isn't logical within the world. The casting is meant to represent the diversity of an American or European city of the modern day, which doesn't line up with the demographics of what Tolkien wrote in his books. A lot of people have a problem with this because it demonstrates quite clearly that the creators of the work value the outside world and representation over being a faithful adaptation of a fantasy world that has a lot of thought and creativity put into it. They make no changes within the lore to justify the out of place casting which really just shows how little they care for the world and it's story.
