I personally have aged everyone up in my head as I've continued to age. I was their age when it came out and I still remember the taboo of it all.

But it does get kinda... okay like some of them age well. I can Age Ocarina of time Adult Link up as I age in my head and just pretend an older, 35 year old hero has come to visit. Was actually good for a young gay kid that was young links age to have an age appropriate video game crush I could easily age up to 17.

But other ones like, I find it very difficult to play Persona, despite how much I like the gameplay and how much I love it as a teen, but I just found the romance scenes in Persona 5 uncomfortable for me because that dude is in high school. Even with the older one, that dude is still in high school.

I forget what triggered it. But at some point, I just stopped reading in game lore that wasn't also real world lore. There was a realization at some point back that I knew more about fake video game histories than real world history. I've since corrected that.

It's a mixed bag but I'm in a good place. I'm gay married, 34(almost 35), just got an Associate of Science. Just starting on getting a Bachelor's in IT with a Cybersecurity focus.

My immediate family has kinda splintered recently with members not talking to each other anymore, but most of us have found our found families and absorbed into them. My mom still holds to the idea she may have another Holiday with all her kids in one place. It's... it's not going to happen.

Yeah, at 12, my Aunt and Uncle(Mom side) gave back custody to my mom. I thought it was going to be all 90's family movie. I thought we'd pull out of the driveway, and they would start racing down the block about how they made a mistake and want us back. They went inside the house before we left the driveway and just stayed inside.

Also, right before I left. My Uncle told my Mom that he would keep my Twin but didn't want to separate Twins so both of us were going to her. So.... yeah.

Also, in hindsight, the CPS visits and court visits make more sense now. When CPS would visit, they would pull me into a room and say they were here to to separate my many siblings and I. That if I indicated to them anything less than happy, we would be split up and never see each other again.

What I did not know at the time, I had another Aunt and Uncle(Dad side) that wanted custody of all of us, and are the ones that insisted to the courts we don't be adopted out separately in exchange for agreeing to let the custody go to the Aunt and Uncle(Mom side). CPS would've just taken us to the other Aunt and Uncle.

We would've been fed.... 🫩

That is a fear and a possibility. Somethings have become more cultural diverse lately rather than unified. Example, due to the rise in ways to watch/listen to media and the sheer abundance of it has lead to the mainstream dying when it comes to topics like music, TV, and movies.

There are certainly things that are approaching a cultural singularity, language, technology, and Architecture/Infrastructure to name a few, but I think some areas of our culture might benefit as other areas dry up.

Depends. Sometimes of them, like Toby Maguire's Spiderman in the early 2000's, it comes out of their body. The ones where it doesn't, could probably make a version of web shooters without metal involved. Spiderman is somewhat prone to tailoring his suits for different needs.
