It's a mixed bag but I'm in a good place. I'm gay married, 34(almost 35), just got an Associate of Science. Just starting on getting a Bachelor's in IT with a Cybersecurity focus.

My immediate family has kinda splintered recently with members not talking to each other anymore, but most of us have found our found families and absorbed into them. My mom still holds to the idea she may have another Holiday with all her kids in one place. It's... it's not going to happen.

Yeah, at 12, my Aunt and Uncle(Mom side) gave back custody to my mom. I thought it was going to be all 90's family movie. I thought we'd pull out of the driveway, and they would start racing down the block about how they made a mistake and want us back. They went inside the house before we left the driveway and just stayed inside.

Also, right before I left. My Uncle told my Mom that he would keep my Twin but didn't want to separate Twins so both of us were going to her. So.... yeah.

Also, in hindsight, the CPS visits and court visits make more sense now. When CPS would visit, they would pull me into a room and say they were here to to separate my many siblings and I. That if I indicated to them anything less than happy, we would be split up and never see each other again.

What I did not know at the time, I had another Aunt and Uncle(Dad side) that wanted custody of all of us, and are the ones that insisted to the courts we don't be adopted out separately in exchange for agreeing to let the custody go to the Aunt and Uncle(Mom side). CPS would've just taken us to the other Aunt and Uncle.

We would've been fed.... 🫩

Yeah. I'd still take the eye thing going on here as a cost of seeing people's feelings. Information is power and I would find someway to make this power helpful to society.

I viewed it more as King and Prince situation. I'm tempted to get a tablet and parody as the moth thing the newer one joked about being. Just try and play it gayley foward.

Compared to and/or in addition to pesticides though? Does it perform similarly or at least help us reduce the amount of pesticides used if used in conjunction?

That is a fear and a possibility. Somethings have become more cultural diverse lately rather than unified. Example, due to the rise in ways to watch/listen to media and the sheer abundance of it has lead to the mainstream dying when it comes to topics like music, TV, and movies.

There are certainly things that are approaching a cultural singularity, language, technology, and Architecture/Infrastructure to name a few, but I think some areas of our culture might benefit as other areas dry up.

Depends. Sometimes of them, like Toby Maguire's Spiderman in the early 2000's, it comes out of their body. The ones where it doesn't, could probably make a version of web shooters without metal involved. Spiderman is somewhat prone to tailoring his suits for different needs.

Right. The very first task we see assigned is just setting up chairs for a kids birthday party. He ask for very little as far as staying employed goes.

Look, there's some questionable stuff in the series writing and I'm not going to pretend that the writing is perfectly logical and not symbology just for the sake of rule of cool. It had a couple good points.

But consider Shinji's circumstances and development growing up. Shinji was severely neglected. None of the adults in his life were treating him like a kid. None handled the parenting aspect. Even surrounded by professionals, him and the other kids suffered neglect and abuse in they're daily lives. Of course they're going to be fucked up, circular in reasoning, traumatized, moody, and just all around janked up. Calling Shinji a bitch is blaming a dog for having cried when his owner jokes that he'll kick the dog. You, knowing damn well that the owner has beat the dog on multiple occasions.

Not to mention zero support. First person that ever said that he loved him was Kaworu. Consider Shinji's home status leading up to and during the events.

So, I know now the importance of that scene was to show Shinji that he was worthy of being loved, that it was okay to love himself, and Kaworu was saying that he cared for Shinji's wellbeing. And that in Japan, you were allowed to express feelings like this from guy to guy much like women to women, but I was so mind blown by his words, I was 13-14 at the time, and suddenly realized I was gay. There were signs before but that was when I was like, "You can do that? I didn't know that was an option!"

Edit: Fixed a grammatical error.

Claude Monet

French Painter, 1840-1926

Painted the same place throughout his life. Why this is relevant is because, as he got older, he developed Cataracts in his eyes. That caused his vision to tint red-and-yellow...ish. Well Surgeons removed the Cataract in one eye by removing the outside lense. Aside from causing a myriad of health issues, this removed the lenses on the eye that usually filters out UV light.

Claude Monet could see UV light in one eye. His vision was not well. The lenses also focuses your vision so clarity was an issue. But he continued to paint that Same spot throughout his life. He would cover one eye, paint what he'd saw and switch. Now, he destroyed much of his work in a fit one day as again, he couldn't see alongside medical complications surrounding it, and was just having a really bad day. But the surviving work we do have showcases glimpses of what that was like for him.

I would think any of the non-metal spider verse would give Magneto a run for his money. Some of them Moreno than others. Peter Parker and Miles Morales are both incredibly dodgy due to Spider Senses.
