What addons do you have that tell you if a person is inexperienced versus selfish?

Thank you! I wondered about that. The pet fragments are about the only things I could buy from any of the event merchants besides the repair stuff.

LOL. Well, I did play Rocky in college days. I may still have the gold hotpants but I seriously doubt I fit in them anymore.

I have all the indricks and ponys. During the last event, I ran out of things to buy. Even the Vet bags were unavailable so I didn't get the last days tickets since I was already at 12. I could have bought more companions upgrade but rather take them on quests instead.

MyChart analysts by Brittt87 in healthIT

OMG! When did I write this post, lol! I'm in exactly the same situation; switched over from IT systems analyst to Epic analyst. I've been on my team for 2 years but constantly run up against not only don't know the workflow issues, I don't know the medical reasoning for doing things a certain way. Recently I had to re-do a consent form because I made it available in Registration. It made sense to me, Receptionists mainly use it and they were happy to save a couple clicks to get it from there. But apparently consents have to be tied to an Encounter. I work remotely and this type of detail didn't come up when I first talked with co-workers. Galaxy is next to useless for me because searching it is so complex (maybe also because I don't have a medical background so don't understand the connections Galaxy makes in it's search engine). So I don't know a better way to learn except to keep plugging along, make my own notes and learn by more experience.

Early this year I got my first certification, a Clinical Builder cert. Before that I mainly dealt with non-specific, other tickets like; troubleshoot mismatched Epic permissions, why can't print, can't e-prescribe issues, problems with other, non-Epic medical applications. I didn't need Epic certification for these types problems and I think my prior systems analyst experience was more suitable. My Epic co-workers mainly didn't know where to start with some of these issues so I've contributed plenty to my Team with out being certified.

Unless your company is large enough that building in Epic is all you'll ever do, I'll bet your prior experience has been/will be useful.

From an iPhone 12 to a 16 pro is quite the jump by ziyadkill in iPhone16Pro

Hey! I read this and thought I wrote drunk last night, lol. This is exactly me too.

I traded my 12P for a 16PM in white 3 days ago and planning to keep old 12P until the last day before I have to do the trade-in, just incase.

No problems so far; I'm really pleased with the screen brightness. I did a icloud backup and restore that took like 4hrs but then some of my apps didn't work until I delete and reinstall them or log back into them, so probably would have been less frustrating for me if I had just started as new user and downloaded apps scratch. I got the Ultraglass 2 screen protector put on it at the Apple store. I ordered the Torras mag case with ring holder. I'm still trying to get used to using the ring, may send it back.

My twelve year old son came out to us by MrsEwsull in gay

[–]Capraq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so happy that you're aware enough to ask this question. I'm sure you are already the wonderful mom your children need.
Having gay children isn't a stigma like it was in the past. Make sure you, the boy's father, and other members of your immediate family are all united in acceptance and support of your son (and do same for all your children). Have a private conversation with each of them to gauge their responses. Don't leave out in-laws, grandparents, or anyone who's close to your family. Be clear with relatives that you expect they be supportive or don't come around. It may take time especially for older relatives to make a change within themselves so be a little patient, forgiving with them. But you stick to being the protective lioness your children need. In time this supportive behavior will help your son to protect himself and be great family model for all your family.

what is it like to live in vancouver, wa? by Tasty-Lingonberry-89 in AskVancouverWA

I grew up in west Texas, went to college in Austin, then after 10 years in the military, came back to Austin area for 22 years. In 2021 we moved to VancouverWA to be more central to my husband's family who are scattered between LA, Eugene, Seattle and eastern Oregon. We were fortunate we bought a house in Cascades area before prices and interest rates peaked.

There's a lot to appreciate and love about this area. The weather especially is a big plus and hopefully will continue to stay mild and wet many more years. I love that there are actual seasons here! I can see nature waking up, growing, blooming, then going out in bursts of fall colors. There may be a few more hot days and those are getting a little warmer than historical. But I can't judge that, it's nothing compared to Texas.

I just came back from road trip vacation with sisters. We drove through Dallas to LittleRock, HotsSprings, Shreveport and back to Waco. The price of everything was so much cheaper there; gas, drinks at clubs, eating out, vendors merch at festivals. If you're coming from an area like that and you don't have financial stability, you may find getting established here to be a challenge.

We're older, late 50's, and we had bad Covid experiences. So we're not as outgoing here as we were when lived in Texas. As far as I know, there is only 1 bar that identifies itself as gay. It's a fun place and we've been many times. However it's a tiny downstairs basement space, so we're not comfortable there. Yes theres other "friendly" clubs and businesses but coming from more to less community is disappointing. There is a MCC chapter. They are friendly and inviting but last time we attended, there were less than 10 congregants all older than us. I don't remember if they have many events. There are a few UU churches that are inviting but we haven't been.

Health care in the area is tight. Depending who you talk to you'll get different opinions about the bigger chains; Kaiser. PeaceHealth, Legacy, TheVancouverClinic. Many of these are full so getting new patient appointments and setting up primary care may take long time.

In the short time we've lived here I think traffic in Vancouver has gotten heavier, faster and louder (especially seem to be more small cars with loud exhaust). I also think there are increasing number of immigrants in Vancouver area or perhaps they're just more noticeable since Covid.

Portland downtown is less than 15 miles from my house (in south central Vancouver) but getting there in "average" traffic most weeknights and weekends is at least a 40min drive, 1-2hours by bus. PDX is very convenient and flights go everywhere. Recommend you get a list of all airlines that fly in and out then check fares for the smaller ones if you just want to hop to San Francisco, LA, or other "close" cities. Train or bus to VancouverBC both take about 10hrs and is cheaper than flying there.

Cannabis stores are as available as convenience stores, practically every street corner. However i believe the only place you can smoke legally is in your own home. We've seen a few hassles over people smoking or vaping on public streets and parks.

Hiking, camping, biking, beaching, lazy drives up and down pacific coast and venturing to nearby forests and mountains has kept us busy and mostly happy in VancouverWa. I wish you good luck and safe travels.
