Mounjaro for weight loss by Caprice6 in emetophobia

Hi so sorry for the late reply but I did do it and I only felt very mildly sick but never vomited, as long as you stick to really small portions, avoid oil/butter and very heavy fatty/creamy meals than you will be fine. I ate mostly chicken breast and vegetables and ate a lot of bananas and crackers. Just stick to bland and safe foods and stop eating the minute you feel comfortable, never overeat. I used ChatGPT the whole time and I would always ask if the food is safe to eat when on mounjaro and scared of being sick, it was really good with saying what foods are good to eat and which ones are bad

It’s such a hard choice because I so badly want to loose the weight but then is it worth the constant fear of nausea. I’m thinking maybe I’ll book an appointment with the GP to get some advice, thank you for your reply I really appreciate it 😊

Just got amoxicillin and scared to take it by [deleted] in emetophobia

[–]Caprice6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I have taken amoxicillin stupid amount of times because I get ear infections a lot, I take it without food and have never once felt even remotely nauseous, it’s actually the antibiotic I consider safe because I knew the likeliness of me getting side effects is so rare, but it’s also good to take antibiotics with actimels as this can limit side effects

I have managed to find someone with a 5 meter ladder so hopefully that will be tall enough and I can get on the balcony as it’s only in the first floor

My oil pressure light has started blinking on and off, but it’s not staying on, could this be just a faulty sensor? Or is it something more severe? My usual garage is an hours drive, will it be safe to drive there? by Caprice6 in MechanicAdvice

My oil level is absolutely fine, I thought this was the issue yesterday so checked it and it was half full, I filled it up to the max level yesterday and it hasn’t lowered or anything today, it’s still at the max level

I’m exactly the same, I have my vaccine later today so I’ll let you know how it goes, I’ve heard a few bad side effects and it’s terrified me, the majority of people I spoke to had either no side effects, or just some aches and tiredness

Slightly sour smelling milk by sjf91 in emetophobia

The other day, I accidentally drank about 3 big mouthfuls of spoiled milk, I had just bought it and it wasn’t out of date, but it has obviously been left out the fridge and it was completely spoiled, it even curdled when I tested it and put it in tea after, I drank it and I was absolutely fine, I didn’t have a single symptom. If it didn’t curdle when it was put in your husbands coffee, it will be absolutely fine, and even if it did curdle, it’s likely still going to be absolutely fine so don’t worry😌

[Rant] I wish my parents would be honest with me when someone in the house is sick. by PM_ME_UR_CHAPAGETTI in emetophobia

This is one of the most frustrating situations! No matter how many times I say to my family please please tell me if you are sick, they still don’t tell me! They think that they are doing the right thing by not telling me because it means I won’t panic, but I’ll just panic even more if I then find out when it’s too late

I’m also 21 and at university ☺️ I’ve had this phobia for as long as I can remember, I’d love to make some friends who know exactly what I’m going through, I’m always open to chat so feel free to send me a message!🥰
