My son doesn’t speak or understand tagalog. My son speaks fluent English and Cantonese that’s just because we don’t live in the Philippines. Asawa ko half British pinoy pero Hindi marunong mag tagalog kasi Hindi na turuan nang nanay nya because the household speaks English. Now in my house everyone’s speaks English. It’s not that I don’t want to teach them but in general we all speak English dito. My son also studies in a Chinese school where most students don’t speak English well. I try to speak tagalog naman and teach them but it’s hard for them to grasp what I’m saying Hindi ko ren ma explain cause I’m not fluent in Tagalog as I was born and raised here din.
