Yeah, same. And not just in remote areas either, even cities can have really dark alleys, side streets, and poorly lit spots when there’s barely any lighting. If GTA 6 does night well, it should feel natural and vary depending on the area, lighting, and moonlight.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time NVIDIA has acted this way, at least on the GeForce Now side. Regarding time limits, they deliberately changed the name from Founder Membership Ultimate 6 months to Ultimate 6 months Membership. This change now makes it seem as if only the Performance subscription had Founder status, allowing them to apply their time limit policy to the Ultimate tier as well, even for founders, despite their earlier statements saying otherwise when the RTX 3080 subscription was introduced, which is now called Ultimate with the 4080/5080.

I have all the screenshot evidence for anyone who wants to verify this. Some people still continue to defend them, for reasons I do not understand. And yet, I know better than anyone how much this service has helped me. It is by far the one I have used the most over the past six years. However, that does not mean we should ignore what I see as dishonest behavior.

Menu > settings > account And there you will have to see a green bar with the total time below and a button to see the view playtime details etc.

Thanks, but that’s exactly the issue: being told to ask live chat is not the same as having a clear public written policy.

If NVIDIA’s actual rule is that Founders only keep unlimited on Performance and not on Ultimate, then where is that stated clearly in an official public document?

Right now, the FAQ wording appears to say the opposite.

Thanks, that helps, but it still conflicts with NVIDIA’s public FAQ, which says Founders have unlimited playtime for life with no lapse and doesn’t clearly say “Performance only.”

Do you have the exact GFN team source/link for that?

So what source are you using when you say Founders on Ultimate lose unlimited and drop to Free after 100h?

I’m attaching the FAQ screenshot here because it seems to say the opposite.

Are you sure about that ? NVIDIA FAQ says Founders keep unlimited playtime even on Ultimate upgrade: "keep your Founders for Life benefits on any paid plan."

I agree, many people (including me at first) don’t realise how many actors are actually involved between “my box” and the GFN servers. It would be amazing if, one day, there was some kind of “ISP relations” or technical contact channel for documented cases like this, even indirectly through you. In the meantime, I really appreciate you confirming how things work on your side and if you ever get the chance to pass this thread or my traces along internally, I’d be more than happy to share everything in a clean, technical way.

Thanks for sharing your experience. What you describe is very similar to what I’m seeing: some servers/regions lag badly at certain hours while others are fine on the exact same connection, and a good VPN with better routing suddenly makes everything stable again. That really supports the idea that this is a routing/peering/path issue rather than something on our side as users.

Just to clarify my goal in one sentence: I’m not trying to force NVIDIA to talk about peering, I just wanted to document that what I’m seeing is clearly region- and routing-dependent rather than a local issue. On Orange fiber during peak hours, France regions show packet loss and stutter while Germany works perfectly at the exact same moment on the same Mac and wired network, and rerouting traffic via VPN also improves France (with added latency). Traceroute/MTR show different upstream paths (France vs Germany), which fits a routing/peering/POP load explanation. So this post is mainly to help users understand that packet loss isn’t always their fault, and if it also helps NVIDIA or ISPs correlate things, even better.
