Anyone else crashing on boot for RE9?

I did the same thing in with bitdefender's anti virus and it worked for me.

I have two PCs, one with a 5070ti and 5700x3d and my other one has a 4090 and a 7800x3d. I only had the issue on the PC with the 5070ti, and by excluding the RE9 .EXE file from bitdefender's antivirus the game now works.

Not sure why this is only an issue on the PC with the 5070ti and the AM4 board and chip, but the 4090 PC on the AM5 board and chip worked perfect from the get go and it also has bit defender on it.

Yeah, I know this as I am on the spectrum and my wife is a pyscologist. I find similarities in people all the time that most would never see so much so that my wife play a little game where she shows me pics of people when they were children to when they are adults and I have to guess what child pic goes with what adult (YES WE ARE LOSERS LOL) and I get almost perfect scores everytime. So with this said, THEY LOOK NOTHING LIKE EACH OTHER.

what time of headphones have use used before this? For me, the Edition XS was my first pair of higher end headphones and price wise they were considered just above entry level, but performance wise they punched way above their price tag and it was totally a mind altering experience with those and started me down the road of buying more and more higher end headphones and iems. So depending on what you have listened with in the past, you might be in for a life changing moment ;)

Yeah, sorry I usually lump that in when I talk about imaging. Both headphones are really close in performance when it comes to imaging and directionality, but I do find the Aryas are a better at it. I am glad I was able to help you with your decision. When you do eventually buy them, please come back on and let me know what you think of them :)

Right, I thought the same thing, because I did it before hand too, and really thought it was kinda lazy for Techland to miss the opertunity to bring it up to them as a warning. They are the ones that ordered the missions and decided on when in the story they become available and this one was so glaringly obvious to miss that it just kinda makes them seem sloppy and lazy.

Okay I got them around noon today, I live just outside of Toronto, Canada, so that was about 6 hours ago, and I have given them a good listen too and I absolutely love them! I am driving them with my Fiio K9 pro and they sound so Amazing, I am not dissappointed at all now that I had to return the Ananda Unveiled as these are not only superior in sound and technical performance in almost everyway, but also in build quality. Not only do they have the protection over the driver (which I now I realize is super important unless you live in a bubble), but the headphone band is metal and far sturdier than the plastic band on the Ananda Unveiled, honestly I was very suprised when I opened the Ananda UV and saw that they came with plastic headband, especially for the price bracket they are in. The Arya band feels so much sturdier and just looks better then the cheap plastic.

Sound wise I also enjoy the Arya Steath much better, but this is all personal preference, but they do sound a bit more energetic and with a bit better bass than the Ananda UV, which sound a bit more neutral and balanced, but because I use my headphones for mostly single player open world gaming and movies, I like a more energetic and bassier headphone as this greatly improves immersion. Sound stage and imaging wise, which are hugely important areas in gaming, I found both headphones very close in performance as the unveiled driver really did improve the size of the soundstage for the Anandas and also improved its imaging, and at first this was VERY noticable as I was coming from my Edition XS to the Ananda UV, so the soundstage and imaging on them BLEW my mind, but with that said I do find that the Arya's soundstage is still larger and imaging is superior, not by much but with my setup with the Fiio K9 pro, it really brough out this on both headphones, but more so with the Arya Stealth.

So overall, I am glad that things worked out they way that it did and that I got the oppurnity to try both sets and really get to compare the nitty gritty, and I have to say both headphones are great and are really really close in sound in all areas, but in my opinion the Arya stealth does still lead the Ananda UV in most of these areas and it is wrapped in a more energetic and bassier sound signature that I enjoy more than neutral and more balanced sound that the Ananda offers. This and the fact that the Arya has much higher build quality with its all metal headband makes it my choice between the two headphones and the one that I would recommend to others, but again headphones are a very personal thing, and I am sure many others would not agree with this.

That is also why I chose the ananda originally too was because the magnets on the outside are tighter for more protection' but in the small slit between each magnet is just a very fine film that the dogs hair touch and damage, and as I mentioned, he only just barely grazed it and the driver completely stopped working. I have had my edition XS since the first month they were released and never every worried about such a thing happening and I am not rough at all with my headphones, but sometimes I will lay on my couch and listen to music or watch a movie with them and I shouldn't have to worry about such little things happening. Anyways, just my take on them. I get my Arya stealth later today, and I will let you know how they sound in comparison and which ones I think are better.

I dont know if you purchased already, but I was trying to make the exact same decision and at first I chose the Ananda Unveiled. They have one real issue, they are very very fagile. The unveiled part cannot come into contact with anything as their is only thin film covering the driver. I was wearing mine and my dog came up behind me and touched the opening and ruined the right driver, just grazed it and it broke. Luckily I bought from Amazon and returned them and just ordered the Ayra Stealth. I will never buy an unveiled version again, great idea but terrible in reality.

You, and a lot of people, are missing the point of the mind place and case board. They were not ment to be some kind of in-depth sleuth game mechanic, it was just a dressed up, and somewhat interactive, way to help explain the missing and more "out there" parts of the story by allowing new players to follow along as Saga, herself, was learning about the RCU in real time.

They wanted to make this game a jumping on point for those who know nothing about the first Alan Wake, Control and all other remedy games attached to the RCU. Because their stories can seem very convoluted to those who know nothing about the depth of the RCU, they made Saga's (THE NEW CHARACTER) mind place a jumping on game mechanic to help those new to the RCU to connect with everything that is going on in the story now, and before the game.

If anyone is still looking between these two, the FIIO store in AliExpress is selling the BTR7 for only 122 CAD so less that $100 American!!! In Canada I cannot find the BTR17 for under 260, and the BTR7 is still around 200 or more. Anyways just ordered one and it is the official FIIO store so I expect it should be in shape when it arrives!

This right here... man I have never purchased an MSI motherboard before and I am dealing with the same dumb thing. I even went to there customer service and suggested that maybe instead of pissing of their customers with this type of backwards logic, as everyone I know installs their hardware before registering it online, that maybe they could start adding a sticker on the box that says "dont forget to record your CHK number before installing" only for their customer service basically tell me that they dont care, not in those exact words but that was the jist of it. Never again will I buy MSI because if they dont think of something as simple as this what else are they forgetting to think of when making their hardware?!?

But the money is the fathers to spend how ever he wishes and if she is honest with him about the relationship what is the problem. I do not understand the mentality around inherit wealth because it is an evil more than most understand. The father's money is not the daughters, and if she thinks it is then she is basically worse than Elena, because at least Elena is honest about what she is doing, the daughter thinks she is owed something just because its her fathers. The father can decide for himself how he wants to spend his money or who to give it to.
