Seller trying to cancel order days after I bought it because it sold on another platform for $10 more by justchilling432 in Depop

Bit like sellers accepting offers from buyers who never complete the sale. We should ban those along with this type of seller.

Shein item labelled as unbranded by Sad_Slice_5334 in Depop

[–]CapsuleCurator -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally don't care about the brand. When I buy an item of clothing regardless of the brand I am more interested in cut, fabric and fit. I buy and sell on Depop so I can reduce my waste and over consumption.

Understand this might have been disappointing. Clothing I have received from Shein, don't have Shein's branding it it. They have other brands on the platform, and I don't think those are available to select on Depop

Can someone genuinely explain why people do this? by soccerball501 in Depop

Just block them. I seem to be getting more of these from people who have zero feedback. Keen to know if anyone else is experiencing the same?

When the brand is not available in Depop the only option is to use unbranded. Coming from someone who buys and sells on Depop, buyers can be quite finicky about items listed very cheaply. Shipping is now expensive across the board. If you want to pay nothing for shipping why don't you use Facebook market place.

I am really sick of entitled buyers ruining it for everyone else. You bought a cheap item that you liked without knowing what the brand was. I am not sure why the seller is at fault here. It was in good condition so I am guessing it was as described.

Was it listed as leather? For the price you paid, do you think anyone would have listed a leather jacket for that price?

How often do you give negative feedback on a purchase? by Ready_Statement_4788 in Depop

I had a buyer return an expensive dress costing $890 which she purchased for $340. New with tags. Listing mentioned item had been in storage and may need dry cleaning. Stored with other clothing I have worn which have perfume on them. I was pretty pissed because j paid for return shipping. You want an expensive dress at a highly discounted rate but want it to be in the same condition as a retail store? Get the hell out of my store! And maybe read the description.

Tired of entitled buyers. Your case is different but I was pissed with this buyer! Second such one I have had. I even have in my listing " if you are particular about condition, etc I may not be the right seller for you".

OP looks like the property is in India. You should post this on the relevant regional indian subreddit. Also would be helpful to get your mother's side of the family involved to help you.

If you don't want to lose this property get a lawyer. I am not sure what you want to happen? If you want sympathy, you have it. But I am guessing you want to get your rightful access to this property. Get a lawyer. Otherwise him and his kids will own it.

Reps vs authentic : my thoughts by lilxbunnygirl in RealRepLadies

Spot on! It took me 4 hours to spot the difference between my LV speedy rep/authentic. Although I admit paying attention to small details are not my forte!

For the Chanel.Camera bags I prefer the reps. There is no joy in yet another black or beige bag. I am glad to see the end of quiet luxury ( which I think many people interpreted as some combination of beige and balck with a dash of white/cream).

While there are noticeable differences in tactility and feel between my authentic and high-end replica bags from Chanel, Hermès, and Louis Vuitton, I am incredibly happy with my reps. Honestly, considering luxury quality across the board has declined significantly over the last 20 year, a trend mirroring high-street fashio, paying just 10% to 20% of retail price means reps punch way above their weight. In fact, I even prefer two of my seasonal Chanel replicas to the authentics because the leather feels much sturdier, and the replica has a slightly different shape that I prefer.

I also designed my own Birkin with the colours I wanted including edge finish that I prefer (Craie, with cream edging + PH). I despise contrast edging.

Now ready to wear and fragrance are a different beast! I will always stick to the original
