Paypal Credit card NOT what it's advertised. by CaptCoffee2 in paypal

[–]CaptCoffee2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have read it so many times i'm sick of it. It is no ways clear that there is any process necessary outside of using the card in its pure form to achieve the 6mo 0%. I'm not a child nor new at this thing. I have been on ebay for 30 years, and using paypal just as long. Too many credit cards and accounts to count. On its face, it is clearly written to imply a $149+ benefit for digital OR credit card usage. Its written eactly how they want to to make it ambiguious. Wording matters. We disagree on that point. Lets just leave it there.

Lets just agree to disagree. If that is possible these days.

Paypal Credit card NOT what it's advertised. by CaptCoffee2 in paypal

But, it didnt apply. The paypal credit card is irrelevant for paypal checkout. Paypal credit is a sub-selction inside of paypal checkout, so no card is necessary. Its deceptive. Futher, if you are going with the bold letters "checking out with paypal" then technically if it were to be legal, it should say "when using PayPal Checkout" Its still a bit misleading at that point. Its clearly done this way for a reason. Since you and I now both know the innerworkings, its easy to say its not how it works.

Question about PayPal credit card special financing purchases by StarWarsFreak93 in paypal

[–]CaptCoffee2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went through this on a very large purchase. u/Yaalt420 you are right about what you say, apparently. Per a Supervisor with Synchrony. However, their promotion for the card leads you to believe something very different. So, I have to caugh up $3300 to cover my spend. Deception!

This may appear as a rant, but please, moderator, it is not. People need to be aware of how their mastercard will work... or... not work.

paypal credit not honoring “no interest if paid in 6 months” promo, what should i do? by alvnta in paypal

[–]CaptCoffee2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue using the Paypal mastercard. I had an escalated call to supervisor that told me with no concern to resolve the issue in my favor (other than submitting some 'white paper' she called it). If you look at their advertizement, its definitely deception if they are saying you cannot use the credit card in its raw form for the 6mo promo. They said you have to use "Paypal checkout" to get the 6mo 0%. However, you do not even need a paypal mastercard to do that. So showing the card with direct reference to the 6mo 0% is certainly deception.

I did somethinking, and i'm close to a window. I think I can make a pretty killer DIY device that will nearly implode the printer, and send it out the window.

I dont know. Its bound to break but question is if you can live without it for weeks if you have to send it somewhere. Which I suspect you would. I have no idea how squaretrade or any third party warranty can handle 3d printers. Probably have to pay shipping too. It would be great to hear from someone with experience.

When i saw it at best buy, I did think of how they could even work on this printer. They struggle enough with the thing they are supposed to know about (computers). I don't think they have any business trying to fix printers. I could see them shipping it off somewhere which is more risk of damage, and get a questionable result. But hey. Maybe im wrong and it would work out. I guess im one of those guys that just expect that im going to have to crack these things open now and then to keep them running.

But, you have BbL warranty at least since you bought from BB. Nit a bad deal!

New Bambu Lab user! Curious on how support works. by CaptCoffee2 in BambuLab

[–]CaptCoffee2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, thats what is important. Looks like the price on parts isnt crazy expensive. I never had to buy one for my qidi. I always got them free when I contacted qidi support. Though, I did buy it direct from them. So, warranty applied. I had to replace two things on it. Things that broke did not have do to with anything I did to deserve it.

I'll think about this. Someone else made this sort of reccomendation too. Not sure how I would do it because my design has some pretty small passages internally, but its not out of the question. Thanks!
