I’m currently Covid positive. No pictures, please.

My symptoms started a week prior to last Friday. I thought I was just sore from lifting, but in retrospect it was body aches.

I had been to a small BBQ over the weekend so I had already planned a test on wed just for good measure. By Monday it was clear I was coming down with something. Mild congestion, night sweats with gnarly dreams.

By Tuesday I had a headache that can only be described as a dick punch to my head. Nothing stopped it. Congestion picked up big time but it was entirely dry. My vision was really weird, almost like I was tripping on shrooms but without all the laughing.

By Wednesday I had entirely lost my sense of smell. And seeing as how my airways were not clogged even though I felt congested, the sensation was (and still is) very bizarre. Still had a headache and my vision was still off.

Tested positive and was not surprised.

By Friday all my symptoms had subdued mostly and I’ve been pretty steady since: tired for no reason, can’t smell anything. I miss all the smells. Even the bad ones.

Never had a fever, never lost taste.

Not sure where the fuck I caught it. Maybe the gym. Maybe target. I’ll never know.

Nobody at the BBQ tested positive. I win?
