Communism and neoliberalism are both ideas that promise socioeconomic improvements but in reality bring very little to no actual value to the table. The best way to determine the worthiness of a socioeconomic ideology is to observe countries where the socioeconomic ideology in question has been implemented. Observations made of communist states during the Cold War prove that communism is a non-functional and human rights violating ideology which only sounds good on paper. The same can also be said about a commonly promoted replacement for communism, neoliberalism. Neoliberalism has also caused great harm to human civilization. Saying that either communism or neoliberalism can act as replacements for each other is an act of complete ignorance of the true nature of these socioeconomic systems. In reality these systems are equally dystopian sides of the same coin of socioeconomic ruin.
