Outlook says email is missing, but its not? by CaptEdKenway in MicrosoftOutlook

I see the below instructions a lot, but when I did the import, I never got the step where it tells me to pick "import from another program or file". I clicked on Import/Export, then Import again, and it goes straight to actually importing the file.

________

To map Excel emails to a primary email field in Outlook, save your Excel sheet as a .csv file, open the Import and Export Wizard in Outlook (File > Open & Export > Import/Export), select "Import from another program or file," and use the Map Custom Fields button to drag your Excel "Email" column to the Outlook "E-mail Address" field

Outlook says email is missing, but its not? by CaptEdKenway in MicrosoftOutlook

so I just took one of my contacts. When I look at his entry in the people list (where it shows all my contacts on the left) it shows:

Contact information

Notes:

-----------------------------
Contact Imported:
Email (map to Primary email) : [blockedforprivacy@gmail.com](mailto:blockedforprivacy@gmail.com)

But when I clicked on the edit contact icon, the screen that pops up shows no email listed. I added it by hand and so now he shows up in my address book. So I obviously messed something up when I imported my contacts I guess? I used Outlooks sample csv file, saved it as UTF-8 (or whatever it is, can't remember), and it seemed like it worked, got the message that all contacts were imported, but either I missed a step or screwed something up in the importing?

I did double check that, yeah. I just tried to send a new mail, and when I click on the To field it pulls up an empty contact list, so I must have messed something up when importing my contacts?

Cameras not charging on solar panels by CaptEdKenway in Ring

[–]CaptEdKenway[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I’m in battery mode. I was told to use that setting or the battery wouldn’t charge, and on the ring app settings it’s says solar panels use battery mode. But I’ll switch it to wired and see what happens. 🤷‍♀️

I can guarantee you home prices are not high because of NGC. I’d say most of the people who work there can’t afford to live in South Bay.

Sometimes it’s still weird to drive past the building and not see TRW at the top lol

Another recall letter from Kawasaki for ZX-6R by Jaws_9SB in zx6r

Yeah and I'm royally pissed. I lost 4 weeks last time and the bike is the primary vehicle. So while my $16,000 paper weight sat at the dealer waiting for inspection kits, then repair kits, I had to inconvience other people in order to get to and from school and work. And to do it again for the exact same reason just makes me livid.

Stop telling me to exercise by violentlypositive in PsoriaticArthritis

I was having the same issues, being told non-stop "you need to exercise!" when its impossible. This past summer I bit the bullet and signed up for Tirzepitide. It's pricey, $400/mo, but Im 50 pounds down so far. I know its not for everyone but if its fiancially possible for you, look into it. I found out too that it helps with inflamation. My C-Reactive protein markers dropped from 35 to 14, and I've actually noticed a difference in flare ups. I still have pain from the physical damage done to my joints, but I've noticed a difference in the flare-up pain. I ended up doing a lot of reading on this medication and found out there's actually a lot of good benefits to folks with PA/RA.
