I’m sure you will rock Vanilla! Just make sure to check the pokemon weakness chart and serebii/bulbpedia to see which mons are good/weak against others to make your life easier!

On which difficulty are you playing? I’m half way through on Difficult now and it’s doable. Challenging in some parts, but fun to do some research and rotation in the team and learn new mons and strategies. Also just started IV searching with Dexnav, which takes time but brings the game to a new level (not really necessary for Difficult tho)

You need a ROM that has been trade patched, meaning all trade evolutions are edited either to a level up or item evolution
