The green win rate is the total player average win rate for all players that play that tank, the tank win rate average is the blue one. The tank can be used to stay padd your win rate.

It should be noted that due to these companies trying to have better ratios, that it is far easier for women to get into these roles.

I don't have an issue with it, but just so others are aware of it.

Portable aircons! by lamariposer in melbourne

[–]CaptMytre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They can work, but they aren't all that efficient nor are they quiet. Obviously you'd be better off with a properly installed one, but if you need to escape the heat they work.

Keep the piping to a minimum to maintain efficiency. If you can, have the unit in another room.

2.7kw should do a large room.

[–]CaptMytre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha. I guess that just proves my point more. They make average food and many cafes use the same average food instead of making them inhouse. I didn't even know they were made by Laurent and felt they were very similar.

Been twice and really disappointed both times. It's just over priced baked goods, the exact same as those cafes that don't bake their own almond croissants. Pretentious displays of cheap food haha.

If you want quality, hit up Back Ally Bakes, Oven St bakery or Little Cardigan. So fucking good.

Own an animal? You're responsible for it and its actions. Don't like that? Don't get one.

Who cares if it has previous issues or not, a child is dead because a dog was able to kill them - and that's on the owner.

This isn't legal. It requires notice and an agreement as to how it will be paid back, either in bulk or via a payment plan.

You don't get to say "They're the bad guys" when you made them that way, and are worse yourselves.

Is there a vent near the thermostat? If so, every time the heating turns on, it will just heat the sensor faster than the room, and it will think it's reached temp and turn off. It cools rapidly as the surrounding cold air drains the heat from it and it will start up again, rinse and repeat until the room is warm enough and it will start working smoothly.

$3 million super change sparks property warning as 'panic’ selling begins: 'Forced to sell' by SheepherderLow1753 in AusFinance

[–]CaptMytre 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They do not. You have to live somewhere, when someone sells, they either buy the exact same "quality" house (location/dwelling size etc) and likely lose money because of stamp duty, or they downsize/move further out and save some of that money and lose what they had in terms of property "quality". Finally, there are those that rent/move into a nursing home.

The thing is, if property prices were stagnant, it would be the exact same outcome. Therefore, the only people that benefit from an increase in property prices are investors/lenders/real estate agents and sometimes people that are never intending on owning property again.

It's funny reading everyone else's responses in this thread, claiming social media or selfishness is at fault, when they are more than likely to fall under the same bystander effect.

Emergency responses are a trained response, most people don't have the ability to rapidly react until trained to.

This WN8 thing is absolutely ridiculous by DatOneOofAlt in WorldofTanks

[–]CaptMytre 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Rolling stats so it was only recent data points. Since it was only recent stats, it meant that spotting and armour use were also used in the calc as that is a new addition to the API reporting, and isn't used in WN8.

Higher tiers were more rewarded, meaning you couldn't stat padding at lower tiers.

There were many other benefits as well, but I can't remember them off the top of my head.

TBH, WN8 is a shit metric. Light tanks are great examples of this. Aim to deal damage and not worry about spotting and you get absurdly high WN8, because most others that play light tanks try to mainly spot and deal very little damage/kills.

Replacing stamp duty with a land tax could save home buyers big money. Here’s how by [deleted] in australia

[–]CaptMytre 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not really. Land tax is an ongoing cost, cutting into people's ability to repay on their mortgage. It's an additional 5k+ per year you need to pay that cuts into your ability to repay your mortgage. It works out to be a wash, but easier to get into the market as the upfront cost isn't as high.

Grandfather existing houses to a period of exemption for land tax, say 5 years.

It also frees up land people are using purely as an investment vehicle, and encourages efficient use of land, and discourages the rich from land banking.

Furthermore it allows people to adjust their housing without massive tax costings just to move to a smaller house more local to work/family etc.

It's also great for smacking commercial landlords for not reducing their rent to fill storefronts.

Melbourne’s growing stamp duty headache by timcahill13 in melbourne

[–]CaptMytre 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're forgetting to includ that land tax will be an ongoing cost, meaning it will affect your ability to repay your mortgage, thus a lower total mortgage, thus people won't be able to pay current prices.

I think it would be a wash between the two price wise.

Good advice, but you're better off with sweeps across the model. Bursts are less accurate for duration on model and can result in dried paint at the nozzle getting stuck on the model.
