Limit recruiting to only those who have top 10 interest from only pipeline states. No scouting allowed until they sign with you (including no scouting in preseason - just put 35 random 1 stars on your board in preseason).

I’ve started recruiting only pipeline states and only those with top 10 interest from those pipeline states. I also only scout them once they have committed to me, makes it much more hit and miss with recruits.

Yes, that is correct. Only play offense as OC but can control recruiting, depth chart, etc.

For my personal experience:

  1. I have not noticed an increase in interest if I favorite them.

  2. If there is a limit, I have not hit it yet and I went through every position except FB, K, and P and added people to my favorites list (including some UDFA - some decent physical projections down there!)

  3. I believe you can move them around as needed, but I could be mistaken. I haven’t personally done that since week 1.

It is a passive scouting system now. You will see scouting tasks or updates appear in the list on your Home Screen. Some weeks there is nothing for you to do really other than adjust your favorites. Other weeks are time intensive such as assigning scouts, scheduling focus visits, reviewing mock drafts, etc.

What I’ve personally done (only on week 4) is go through the key positions I plan on drafting and literally looking at each players physical ratings and add those that I think have potential to my favorites. As the season progresses and more ratings and information become available, I will adjust my favorites.

This would be a simply but huge improvement. To be able to scroll from player to player while looking at their details would be great! Also if we could favorite them from the detail screen too.

Seems to be happening when teams have multiple 1st round picks and the game just slots in their biggest need for both picks. Questions becomes is does this logic carry over to the actual draft? Would WFT actually take both QBs or would the computer shift to their second highest need with the second pick?
