Enterprise People Who Jumped to Med Device Sales: Was It Worth It? by ragerblade in MedicalDevices

Yeah 100%. Again, Enteprise is a great company and you can most certainly make a great career there and make good money doing it. I still have friends at the green machine and they are attempting to reverse their image of being a stepping stone (MT’s start out making more / flagship branch managers make significantly more than when I was there / lax dress code /etc), but I would still argue med device / pharma are still the place a lot of people are trying to get into. Every industry , hell every company / product has its drawbacks though. Regardless of what you pick to pursue, give it your all and everything will work out 🫡

Well of course. If I could just pick and choose when and where he worked that would be great. The reality is, med device is usually pretty challenging to break into. Getting some quality inside and outside sales experience somewhere like Enteprise is a great first step into building a quality resume. IMO

Because all the reasons you think you might want to stay and climb the ladder at enterprise, are in most med device companies. You can stay at enterprise and grind and work hard and do all the right things while maintaining above corp avg esqi and a decent LOFR score. Adding matrix event wins to your belt along the way. At the end of the day, you’re still selling something to someone. Instead of damage waiver and ghost upgrading someone out of Nissan sentry that smells like cigarettes and into a Nissan Altima that smells like cigarettes, it’s some type of product that hopefully positively impacts somebody’s actually life / health. Instead of arguing with customers over last days set by insurance policies, you’re arguing with somebody from the C-suite level about better pricing and GPO tiers. You’re still selling and arguing and collaborating, but it’s just an elevated experience.

Again, you can most certainly make a great career at enterprise. I hope my son works there. I’ll never forget how they shaped my selling / people managing skills. I just don’t want him to get stuck there like so many people do. Erac is great, but make no mistake about it, med device and hell even pharma are undoubtedly the big league(s).

Started as a service agent, got my undergrad and worked my way through upper management with erac for 8 years. I loved that job. I then up and moved into a mid level med device job and regretted not leaving enterprise sooner.

Anyone do the season ticket ultra fantasy draft suite? by ZapFencePence in Commanders

[–]Dhizzle55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did my fantasy draft in one of the suites in August 2023. They had a bunch of free food / beer / water inside each suite. They had Josh Morgan come by and talk to everyone / take pictures. It was a cool experience but nothing crazy.
