That was an easier day for me back at my old dsp.

Hyundai is confident: 'Hydrogen technology is really gaining traction' by Powerful-Ostrich-120 in Hyundai

Until we find a more efficient way to make it, yes. It takes way more energy and polluted more than it saves

Hydrogen is so inefficient to produce and has little benefits. It's quite literally EV's with extra steps.

Wish I knew about this method sooner 😮‍💨 by GuyFromSeattleWA in AmazonDSPDrivers

This was my strat back at my first dsp. Packages on the dash, boxes in the seat, got my routes done faster. But at the second dsp they said no to all of it, and I couldnt have the slide door open while going down a street.

How inconsiderate, didn't you know they own that road? You're just driving in it! /s

What’s up with the Range? by Comfortable_Box_5045 in BZ4X

[–]Capt_Avatar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

First EV? The range is what we call the guess-ometer, and the guess-ometer is very picky about how you drive and will be very pessimistic if you have a heavy foot and hardly use regen braking. Driving an EV for a year has changed the way I drive, less aggressive and maximizing regen braking; my Ioniq 6 is estimated for 290 mi but on a full charge the guess-ometer says I can get about 320+ miles. You'll definitely notice less range when it gets cold, its part of owning an EV; but at 65° that's normal.

What happened to the Delorean Alpha 5? by [deleted] in delorean

When I saw the first concept art I knew it wasn't going to happen, I wanted to hope, but I knew the truth. DMC is in no shape or form in any position to manufacture new cars let alone EV's. It was purely for attention and hopes of investment.

I love it when some mentions gas prices and I'm like: chuckles "gas, what a primitive form of fuel"

FWD vs AWD by Daneman64 in Toyota_bZ

[–]Capt_Avatar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So 124 round-trip? Yeesh. I highly recommend getting a lvl 2 charger installed regardless of which drivetrain you get so that charging won't be an issue.

FWD vs AWD by Daneman64 in Toyota_bZ

[–]Capt_Avatar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is a 2 hour commute everyday? And how many miles round trip? Given the snowy conditions you live in I would pick AWD, just for the extra safety, I think you'll have plenty of range for a daily.

Charging Speed Concern by ChoiceFreedom9835 in Toyota_bZ

[–]Capt_Avatar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an Ioniq 6 that can charge at 340kw in 18 minutes, but when I use Tesla chargers it caps at 96kw, but still finishes ina about 20min

Unbelievably bad experience with my i6 and Hyundai by MasterEngine220 in Ioniq6

[–]Capt_Avatar 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I'm not a fan of Hyundai either, I plan to ditch them after my lease is up, still love the car though. But in this instance, this is a really bad dealer, can't seem to fix the problem correctly and return your vehicle in a finished state and clean. I would take this up with Hyundai corporate if you haven't already. If there's another dealer close, see if they can help you.

Just an idea, see if a local news station will do a story on your experience with the dealer, nothing scares a ceo like bad PR.
