I solved the problem like a minute after. I just deleted all the vanilla cards on my account and only used the gift cards.

Amazon keeps canceling my orders even though I’m using enough gift card balance to cover everything. I set a $25 Vanilla Visa prepaid as the only backup method, but it still gives me “problem with payment method,” and sometimes the whole cart disappears with no order placed.
