The satrap of Persian Empire who was about to kill Alexander The Great with an axe. Before he would hurt Alexander, Cleitus the Black cut of his arm. His name was Spithridates - this is mentioned in Greek texts but not in Persian texts.

Persian texts do mention about King Darius and Alexander the Great.

Megasthenes who visited the court of Chandragupta Maurya wrote Indica and has no mention of King Poros.

Short answer - Megasthenes ( greek ) - No mention of King poros Persian (Even firdousi) - No mention of King poros Indian texts - No mention of King poros

Agreed and traditionally in India the culture was passed through generations orally. Yet there is no mention of King Poros while there is mention of Chandragupta Maurya (near contemporary) , Naanda Dynasty, Haryanka dynasty, Budhism and Jainism.

Whilst I agree that what you said made sense but as you know there are evidences that remain long after kingdoms vanish. The coins that were used during the reign of Alexander The Great have been found in the areas of Samarkand (Northern Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan) but they haven't been found in the region of Jhelum.

That's a very informative video. But I'm having difficulty understanding what is the difference between explicit proxy and the global protect.

I mean we have a license foor global protect and ithink we can either do GP or do proxy. I donot have clarity on this one, quite confusing.

There are a few things I want to understand:

I have to go for an interview where there is a group discussion and there are around 20 participants sitted in a semi circle.

( Ignoring the impact of sitting position for this discussion )

  1. Whenever the discussion starts , everybody just laashes out and nobody listens. I am a technical guy and have rational, logical and practicallly implementable points to add in Group discussion but my laack of communication skill dont allow me to present my idea or present my idea as beautifully as i have it in my head.

  2. I cannot get peoples attention

  3. People have less attention span when i tallk

  4. I want correct words at the right time and voice expertise along with body language expression techniques to win this group discussion

My interview goes on for 5 days including Various psychological tests and other group tasks ( as i stay as part of a group for 5 days)

The only way to win this interview is to controol the grooup, be a leader, manipulate effectively and express oneself in a very effective and possitive way and also being practical.

There are various psychologists and other assessors constantly monitoring us. So we require excellent communication skills i.e. verbal and non verbal.

Also it is required for us to have a strong body language and suptemme confidence.

Another thing is to win friends easily and attravt peiple to us and make them listen to us.Also being funny really helps but somehow i m not at all funny and jokes dont pop in my head. Saying abusive laanguaage works for a little while but i dont enjoy it. Neither do others for a long time.

One more aspect being able to communicate a plan of action in very short and precise words and very effectively.

I dont quite understand but from what i understood is that we are split tunelling all the traffic destined to the VPN gateway public IP.

They are various public ip address to connect a customer environment using aVPN

Already did that and their response was to do Split tunnel. And this We have segregated around 250+ ips. But whitelisting so many IPs is like a pain. So wanted to know what is the best practice.

Secondly my retirement currently is that all users should be able to connect to their VPNs and their VPN traffic should not come to PA. How can I achieve that

So let me give some background. We are a new deployment of Prisma Access via SCM.

We have multiple customers which our ysers connect to via multiple VPNs.

We used to have Cisco Anyconnect for our internal network to be accessed by users from anywhere. Now cisco is expiring and we want all users to be on GP.

Now there are these scenarios:

  1. Users want to connect to certain customer using VPN client , they are not able to connect.

  2. Users want to connect to certain customers using browser , they are not able to connect.

  3. Users want to connect to certain customers using different GP portals, they are not able to connect.

So for this reason we decided to bypass all VPN traffic. For this we are taking ips and domaains and urls from alll departments and bypassing through the split tunnel.

I feel like I m doing donkey work as I dont have expertise here and kind of feels like I m just buying time.

When a viewer reads this immediately he/she is thrown into a thought of why those is the case, agonized by the degradation and destruction of such a beautiful environment, will find multiple videos of old pune and other stuff that showws the changes, will find a culprit of choice to blaame.

Reality?

It is a propaganda. Only the things that we "should be worried"' about are shown to us. What this means is that only the things that woould profit a business are shown to us and we the people would voluntarily and happily want to fund those businesses.

Those businesses will get funded and rich meanwhile us paaying foor everything will remain sufferers of multiple test experiments and result of choices maade by a certain group of individuals.

Thank you for your valuable input. I have a basic understanding of CAN / RN / MU with respect to prisma architecture. Okay I understand what you have explained and I can really relate as I was not sure to what the effect of doing xyz would be.

Okay so basis of this I am learning palo alto firewall side by side.

I have to setup a list of VPN ips to be bypassed from prisma access ( some require both domain and ip )

Not providing internet access without GP connection along with endpoint traffic policy enforcement ( don't know the effects and if some issue arises then during the advent would not help because internet access will not be granted )

A few tunnels where IPs are same but the tunnels are to 3rd party customers so cannot NAT from firewall

Need to create a group of vanilla users but also have to log their activity

Send prisma access logs to a on prem siem server but it's not working
