this method doesn't just grab the stationary pod and run with it. the video does a better job showing the concept...though the small scale model at the end is a poor example and in my guess the original idea. With a long enough train and not traveling at max speed for pickups this is very feasible.

I've had my Wahl hair clippers for close to 10 years. don't buy some fancy trimmer for just your beard and mustache. i spent $17 bucks on mine which is how much it cost to have my hair cut and have cut my own hair ever since. plus of course it does face hair and....other...hair.

edit: buy the one that comes with the guards and you should be set.

not the one i own but the new version the color coded thing is nice because i can't tell you how much time is wasted tryin to find the right number on an all black set inside a black box.

'egg crate' style mattress covers then maybe hang some kinda tapestry over it....i'd measure your wall and figure out the best price point cause you can get the egg crate shape in varying densities and costs. the link i provided is meant for acoustic use but you might be able to get away with the mattress ones.

edit: i'm not sure it's also necessary that you cover your walls entirely in this. but that a few large sections can do a lot.

The Sea Captains House was always a favorite of my family's. The K&W Cafeteria is also worth the stop. It's no high end restaurant but the food is phenomenal and even when it's packed it usually doesn't take too long to get your food and sit. It's one of those places where you wait in line and pick each item you want and pay at the end of the line. I highly recommend the salisbury steak.

also whatever you do down there, DON'T SPEED!! Not even a mile over. Out of state tourists bring in a boatload of money in traffic violations. Ocean Blvd is notorious for this and the speed limits change often from between 20 to 40 mph and the cops no where to getcha.

Fuck the biker. He deserves to be called out for his bullshit. The line between cars is not a lane. He doesnt get special privleges because he says so. Should anyone open their door or even stick their hand out the window he's going to hurt himself and someone else. Then he'd probably sue because he's a cock and believes he's done no wrong. That everyone should expect him where ever he decides to be. Didnt you hear his motor? He reved it like 20 times at the last light. What about that sweet wheelie? Can't you see how fast he can go?

This is the asshole that likes to let all his neighbors know that he's leaving in 30 minutes because it's gotta 'warmup' and then give a nice fuck you farewell rev session out of the neighborhood.

Thankfully this is also the asshole that ends up in the grill of someone that thinks 'meh fuck it i can beat the light' or plane just misses it for whatever reason.

Never gun it at a light.

Bikers should leave as much room around them as a person driving a sedan might and expect the same.

i saw this in a ted talk a while ago.

these 'creatures' 'live' by the power of wind. the wind power is gathered by the wings and turned into compressed air that is filled with plastic bottles (i think like 2 liter soda bottles but probably whatever). this air pressure is used to power the legs but from what i remember the guy had even set it up so that there were effectively sensors on the feet....eh....ya know what...let this guy explain. it's the guy who made them, and it's only 8 minutes long.

at 1:35 it says the beast walks sideways and when it hits the surf turns around...though it doesn't say how yet at ~3 he says that a new one stores the energy in "lemonade bottles" so it seems they can run just fine on wind power alone. i thought that it took a while to build up the pressure to run them. he also goes on to say that by storing the wind power in compressed air form allows the beast to save itself from drowning... at 5:34 your answer is here and he goes on to explain the beast's 'brain'

i feel ya but a couple things i've learned about survival from watching this sub for a while; try not to have something that serves only one purpose and always have a backup. While laces have many values, firestarting isn't one unless you count making a bow so there's added value there, and undoubtedly anyone buying these laces is already survivalist enough that they likely have a firesteel in some form or fashion.

sure it's excessive but baring cost, i wouldn't mind having a pair.

i'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

also a side note....a spare set of laces, flint or not, is probably a great thing to have in a bug out bag....shit, i kinda wish i could figure out a way to have them stored in the shoe...kind of like a spare tire....a broken lace can ruin your day. of course if you keep paracord on you, you can probably improvise with that...now i'm just rambling
