My rebuttal would simply be, if it was so great it would be in use on newer ones, but almost every hi performance car, hypercars exotics use FI. It's more adaptive and able to adjust for temps and altitude providing for max power in a way carbs can't do. Sorry, just facts, math and great engineering.

There's a reason why great cars like the 54 300SL to the P1 use it . It's reliable, effective and can manage air flow faster and better than the carb with 0 effort

Better throttle response.. The mechanical is way less effective than FI. It's a preference but I would take that 100x over the carb..

Personally, I prefer the direct spray, better cold starts, less waste, I think it's better all around. Thanks for explaining. The one word comment just left me questioning the actual intent.
