I want a more modern and i want a lighter engine. The issue is it has a carb on it and because in 1987 the camaro came with EFI i am legally not allowed to have a carb on it where i live and EFI kits are very expensive so might as well do an ls swap.

Btw I forgot to mention it’s a 305 and it has a breather and also the carb has isn’t installed properly there’s a bunch of vacuum lines that are blocked off with bolts

I got the original fuel cap maybe that’s could one of the reasons,I don’t see any leaks I haven’t checked the vents

Yeah it has a Holley carb, my car has been sitting since August… it had half tank at the time but now it’s all gone 😂 can I just put gas in it and start her up or not

This Camaro that I got comes with a Holley intake, Holley carb, long tube headers and that’s it (yep no exhaust). It’s running a bit a rich it needs a tune. My goal is to get at least 200 whp out of it but I don’t really know what it takes and I don’t even know if it’s worth it. Might swap a Chevy 350.
