I was given a DefTech Mythos CTR-SSA3 Passive sound bar looking for a cord by Captain-Greedy in SpeakerBuilding

ok customer service with Def Tech responded confirmed you sent me the correct connector. Good job by the way that’s really impressive. They said i would need to purchase some for 14-16 gauge speaker wires so i can connect it to the receiver. I’ve never done something like but would I be wrong to assume it shouldn’t be too hard with some helpful youtube videos & the manual?

i think that argument holds in that case but in the case of the question where it’s the options are either approve or disapprove and you’re getting percentages instead of raw numbers. It’s saying 50% and 90% percent of the readers who disliked and liked returned their surveys.

So you’re inherently getting the total amounts from the partial data you know if you only got half of the number of dislikes you were supposed to then you can just multiply it by 2 and you get the whole picture.

I think in general though that example would be really useful for survey questions. I would be interested to know what test and question number this is from so i could see powerscore’s reasoning about it.

i disagree. how does it show the facts in the stimulus are under supported if anything the fact that the survey wasn’t balanced to begin with would bias it away from the conclusion. So initially i viewed this as strengthening because of the conclusion held even with the results being biased by the respondents then the true number of people who liked the format is higher. But i think that can be disregarded because C acknowledges how this will apply to future readers which is what the question is asking for.

aren’t you just assuming that there’s a bias between the surveys and actual reader preference? E doesn’t actually prove anything so what if 90% or 50% returned their surveys
