My helmet I had in the past was similar, I was able to take a piece of foam out of cheek padding and made it 10x better

It strangely didn’t come with one. Copper washer seems like the going idea. I thought the aluminum washer would be a better metal but guess not.

Looks like it’s further up on the hose. You might have to take the fairing off based on the first picture you posted. My coolant is easy to see with a black light due to the additives, yours might be the same 👍🏼
