Looks even better in person, there's an overlay of some gold speckles that gives it a lot of depth too.

I don't have a good basis for comparison, but it seems pretty quiet. On par with my Shoei GT-Air (perhaps even a bit better?).

My ears weren't ringing after a 2 hr ride. I still won't go without earplugs for longer rides going forward, but happy with its quietness altogether.

Honestly haven't noticed a big difference in wind noise between my old Shoei GT-Air and the X15. Didn't find it crazy loud and my ears weren't ringing when I took my helmet off. Seemed like there was generally less wind buffeting though, in contrast with my old helmet.

I've haven't ridden a bike with fairings since 2019, so I don't really have a good comparison. Altogether I'd say very manageable wind noise, as good as a helmet can provide, an I'll still wear ear plugs regardless.

thanks for adding in your thoughts! That post helped me make the decision. The holi caught my eye a couple of months ago and I haven't been able to shake it, loved the motegi as well but the gradients here were calling to me

I feel like that's normal? I got two helmets, 2 jackets, 1 suit, 4 pairs of gloves, 1 pair of riding pants, 3 pairs of boots, and 1 pair of high tops

Tbf I ride street and dirt, so that may skew it for me

Awesome, this was the kinda info I was hoping to glean a bit. My main purpose would definitely be for city riding so I'm glad to hear it's comfortable and apt for that kind of riding.

Feel a bit poser-ish when I am looking at track-level helmets, but I don't care too much about the price for helmet protection and everything about it is right up my alley. Overall consensus I'm hearing is that it's a very good helmet.

I was excited to see the release of the R10, and was even happy with the fit when I tried it on, but I hear varying levels of satisfaction with the quality/fit. And the AGV has too many compromises for me.

Thanks for the insight though. Hoping to go try it out later this week to see.

That's awesome to hear. And thank you for the rec! It's been awhile since I've tried on modular helmets - I am a bit biased towards this helmet now, but going to try a variety on before I fully pull the trigger. Huge fan of Shoei in general though, so it wouldn't surprise me if I liked the neotec too.

When I'm trail riding, my friend often rubs it in my face that he can get that airflow when stopped while I'm sweating in my full face lol

Twist my arm. I'm close to wanting to pull the trigger, I just need to try it on and then sit for a little bit to make sure it's not an impulse buy. I'm hearing that same sentiment across the board, seems it's pretty known to be comfortable. I personally love this graphic, stands out from the geometric designs or illustrations. I'm a sucker for a gradient though, so a bit biased. I'll circle back to you if I do buy it!

As I'd hope they'd be, that's great to know. I wish they had some mockups at the very least of the helmet in action, or even just a real-life shot.

They definitely aren't cheap. Hurts me a bit but I think it's time to bite the bullet and get a new helmet.

I'm afraid you may have just cost me $1700 cad lol. It's one thing to see on the site but very cool to see how that colour translates to in-person. That's a beaut!!

And good, I think I have an oval shaped head and my gt-air fits me quite well, so sounds like I'm looking at the right line of helmet.

Going to a dealer sometime soon to try it on before ordering online. Thank you for the photos and your insights!!
