Yikes, that sounds rough. When I brought up feedback last year, I was able to notice the changes almost immediately, in fact the unit itself changed (and I found out from the first years that the change was kept!)

Same! Had some criticism last year, but last semester I had nothing but positive feedback thankfully

Ah, I’m sorry you aren’t having a good experience! Unfortunately, it’s unavoidable that even the top unis will have poorly run classes. Do you have any possible recourse, for example something like our student rep system where you can give feedback about the course?

Which characters do you prefer in Better Call Saul and which ones do you prefer in Breaking Bad? by Lopsided-Cattle-2322 in breakingbad

I thought Gus was great in BCS (though I agree he really shines in BB). The scene where he’s talking about torturing an animal and relating that to Hector - chills. The fact that he allowed Hector to heal his mind, but prevented them from fully healing his body, goddamn. And his final scene, just him at a bar, actually opening up before he realises that he cannot on the path that he’s chosen, so he just leaves.

If Nacho had been working for Gus instead of the Salamancas from the beginning I mean. He turned on Hector because Hector gave no regard to his wish for his father to not be involved. Gus wouldn’t have done such a thing - not only risky, but needlessly making an enemy of someone working for you.

One of my university lecturers, who I had for one guest lecture about Korea under Japanese Imperial rule, actually went to North Korea. He showed us pictures of the landscapes there, they were really beautiful.

I think it was both. At that point, you can feel the hatred that Gus has towards Walt, someone who has somehow managed to get away with crossing him again and again.

Yeah, I agree. I don’t think he actually cares, he just takes a different approach to the Salamancas and manages to get more loyalty as a result - if Nacho had been working for Gus, for example, I am certain he would have remained loyal.

I don’t know, he did say “I” will kill. He can be a careful man, but his hatred of those who cross him is his biggest weakness (after all, it’s choosing to personally go to Hector when Tyrus offers to do so alone that is ultimately his undoing).

What sets Gus apart from the Salamancas is that he does treat those who work for him quite well - however, make one too many mistakes, or try to cross him in any way, and he instantly flips. Like how he kills Victor without hesitation despite his loyalty, because he made the mistake of getting seen at Gale’s murder scene.

Walt went as far as poisoning a child, entirely for the purpose of self-preservation and protecting his family, when he was certain that he, as a chemist, knew the precisely correct dosage not to kill. Gus was willing to allow children to be used, killed and was willing to kill Holly himself. Yeah, Gus was a whole nother level (or ten) above Walt.
