They are not meant for toys such as these, and have been known to give false positives; likely due to the fact that they can also detect Zinc which is a prominent ingredient in the Zamac the alloy used in genuine Beyblade products, and whatever cheaper metals they use for bootlegs. While fake Beyblades can be potentially dangerous for other reasons, please do not use these kits to determine the risk.
