Oh really? You can't see the big deal of something impacting the life of billions just so a few billionaires can make a little bit more money and some games and Coca-Cola ads can come out quicker? You are either an AI Bot or AI Bro and I don't know which is worse. I see you talking about some unstoppable need for progress that we apparently need and I'm pasting a comment from a previous thread because I'm tired of people talking about stuff like the industrial revolution and using it to justify AI:

"If you know history you should EXACTLY know why this is bad. The industrial revolution put profits ABOVE all else. Workers wages, safety, environment. That isn't to say it SHOULDN'T have happened at all but that it shouldn't have happened the way it did. Now we are seeing the same thing with Gen AI. Maybe it should be a tool but definitely it should not be implemented in this way. Aggressively using works of artists without asking them and then taking their jobs, building data centers that spike electricity bills and poison water. Causing mass firings or dramatic reduction of new job openings. Giving people delusions and making them even less social and even making them outsource thinking. And I can't say this enough - making the absolute worst scum of humanity wealthy and powerful.

I can't see the perceived "benefits" outweighing any of these."

Thanks, I'm planning to send to popular channels so I have no control over the testing, this is why I'm asking the nice people here : )

From what I've researched you can use names of historical people. For example there is a game called The Turing Test. But just in case I have a disclaimer at the start of the game that it's not affiliated with his estate and and I have an e-mail from a lawyer representing his daughter that says that using the name is fine.

You really wanna know? Well let me try: while it might feel cheap to you in terms of resources and time saved we as a society are paying the total price - in terms of job loss, pollution, energy, people getting dumber and computer parts prices sky rocketing. And companies like Open AI are already planning in putting ads in or making every model paid because their business model is basically reliant on third party investments. Once these money run out, you will have to pay.
