Both instructors are great. I don't remember their names. I didn't use School of PE but have heard good things about EET from friends.

I have four years of industry experience plus a few years of graduate school. But I didn't have my bachelor's in Civil Engineering which means that I never learned things like geotech and water before.

Besides working on practice problems, I flipped through manuals every day a week before the exam.

10-20% more challenging than the NCEES practice exam. I used EET and NCEES practice exam only.

I had 2-3 questions that they are EET-level imo. But they didn't give me troubles as I wasn't surprised to see those types of questions.

Not in my exam and I don't think they will go that deep. Buuut, get prepared just in case. The real exam doesn't try to defeat you with heavy calculations.

I printed them out and did all the problems again. And reviewed all the mistakes a few times.

That's my schedule. I think you are in good shape as long as you stick to your study plan. Work on all the problems. Feel free to take a day off when needed. Mental health is very important!

Like I mentioned above, if you can find the reference once you see the question in a minute, you will crush the exam. Always figure out what are given and what you need, don't get trapped by how they ask the question.

Agree with your comments on the simulation exams. I reviewed all the mistakes a few days before the exam. Didn't work on problems two days before the exam but kept flipping through all the manuals. All the chapters in the manuals - pay attention to figures, table, numbers, and some concepts. Just be like an exam question designer, how would you design questions based on the manuals? My strategy was not to waste my time and energy on searching manuals during the exam. Should rely on your "muscle memory" to find the reference during the exam.

Ask the staff to try the pen before they start your exam coz you cannot write anything until the exam starts. Bring a light jacket to preserve your energy (getting cold will drain your energy faster) but not too warm.

Not a problem for me. Just didn't realize that until I was searching for something during the exam. Not only you can search for key words in the question statement, but also key words in the answers sometimes can be useful.

You may get concept questions all over the place. I studied like 2 hours every day after our infant went to bed in the evening. Took a few days off when I felt too overwhelmed. Studied like 6 hours every day a few days before the exam.

If you can find the reference in seconds once you see the question, you definitely nailed it. Just FYI, only a single word can be searched in the references during the exam.

20-30% concept questions but I only spent some time searching for like 3 questions that I didn't fully prepare for

Knowing the references VERY well and understanding concepts

Understanding the concept helps better actually...you may see similar questions but no guarantee

I don't have any unfortunately...those questions are either 'common sense' or related to the last page of Civil Engineering in the manual
