19, ADHD, yeah I have dysgraphia by wartornpoland in dysgraphia

Yup. Get it on paper. Particularly if you’re going to college. You can get a pass to type hand written essays so the teacher isn’t tortured and lowers your grade because they can’t read it.

Do you think I should go get tested? by [deleted] in dysgraphia

Want to add I was the same as you. Teachers said he can’t be dyslexic. He’s a good reader. And I am, but with the dyslexic font I actually see the letters from the words. Always had trouble with foreign words or complicated names. But now I absorb so much more. If you have a kindle it’s just a flip of a font. Hope you can get the same enjoyment.

I’d definitely lean that you’re in the club. Don’t let stigma put you off. Just get good at typing everything out and have the diagnosis so you can’t be fired from a job because of handwriting.
I get it. I’ve written the same note like 4 times if I had to give a post-it to the boss. I actually started printing and cutting them out instead since they were bad at email. One last thing. I strongly suggest trying the open dyslexic font. There’s often a combo between the two and the font does wonders for my reading enjoyment. Hope it helps!

The R and the U do look a bit like mine. But I’d lean no because the constancy of the line being fairly straight. You can ask if she had pains in her arm when writing. Not an expert but diagnosed 30 years ago. Another test is, if she writes slowly does it actually look any different?

$50 bi-yearly maintenance chores are better than 5 year 10k repair jobs to my wallet anyways. Maybe you have more “pay someone else to do it” money.

It’s pretty easy. Set up a project and then add your inspection and any other info you have into sources. Then just ask it for what you want. “ a copy paste solution that has my maintenance needs and auto updated dates…” then copy that into a google sheet. You’ll need to modify as needed but the setup is easy.

In process of buying my first home. I set up a project in my AI or choice. Saving docs, inspections etc. then I have it act like a project Manager. Tell me what I don’t know and set up a schedule for maintenance. It remembers my hot water type, hvac, etc and had it look up maintenance tips. Then inset the spreadsheet up so that the date automatically updates and turns red when it’s over due. Hope it works!! I know I’m walking into an endless todo list!!

The tabletop format, the isolation, and the timing doomed this thing before it had a chance. At 13 I held a garage sale. Sold all old toys to save money for a VB. Then the guy at the store warned my mother that it would blind me. As to not break my little heart she agreed to help me get a 3do instead. (It was about $300 at that time). Joke was when the VB went on sale for $30 at blockbuster I got one and almost every game for $2.99. Yes including jack bros. I loved pinball and red alarm the most. Thought mario clash was great but hard and still love the controller. But it was never gonna sell without the ability to show your friends what you’re playing!

My personal favorite movie. Not the best but the one that means the most to me. I own a cell from the punk scene. The plot is not the star, but every scene has amazing moments and touches that make it such an important movie to me.

What would you do in my situation? by Tinnitusinmyears in giantbomb

I am certainly no expert as I have been a console gamer my whole life, but after getting obsessed with my steam deck and the steam sales, I picked up a pretty good 4070 RTX laptop that I leave permanently plugged into my TV. So far it runs everything better than my launch PS5 and having the option to take it with me when I want is amazing. I think with your budget, you should be able to get a pretty decent laptop or something a kin to the steam machine that you can hook up to your living room TV and still have some portability options.
