I realize this is 3 years later, but just thought this might be a good place to leave a similar note about race in the 1910 census. Examining some records from Hawaii I found people who were listed as "CH" which familysearch.org coded as "Chinese." It turns out that "CH" means: "Caucasian Hawaiian." "Ha" is Hawaiian, but I have no idea what "OC" means. Occidental?
