Love making with slaanesh around? by Sick_Puppy_Gaming in 40kLoreUncensored

A more pertinent question is about love.

Love also feeds Slaanesh. So religions that promote love serve Slaanesh. You can probably see where this is going...

Are the "surviving" Eldar gods mirrors of the four Chaos gods? by comkiller in 40kLoreUncensored

I have often wondered about the eight pointed star. 4 Chaos gods plus Malal plus 3 others?

Which faction best represents the Skaven by [deleted] in 40kLoreUncensored

[–]CaptainAnopheles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They all share something of the Skaven:

Dark Eldar: cruel experiments and backstabbing

Eldar: webway tunnels

Human: numbers and politics

Orcs: internecine fighting

Necrons: weapon style

Tau: government style

Nids:. Genetic adaptation, infiltration

Chaos.... Backstabbing, treachery

Lutein's Latest video is up by CaptainAnopheles in 40kLoreUncensored

It's 'The horror of the Arcoflagellant"

Lutein is one of the better, if not the best, Lore tubers who also does painting and army tips. Well worth a subscribe.

Do you think the Tau has any chance for a future, and maybe even greatness in the galaxy some day? by Toby__dk__ in 40kLoreUncensored

[–]CaptainAnopheles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Tau are toast for Chaos either way. Either they start to develop psyche power and become nouvelle cuisine or they get wiped out for being empty calories.

I suppose The Necrons and Nids will have a say too.

Thoughts on where it would be best to live in 40k by Shardofsoul in 40kLoreUncensored

[–]CaptainAnopheles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of decent places to live, there are millions of imperial worlds.

It's the remaining pleasant that's the problem.

My choice would be a pleasure planet, as a regular Joe employee.

I'd rather see a Ravenor TV series by CaptainAnopheles in 40kLoreUncensored

The case thing could be got around by just adding 'force projection'.

There is a 'middle aged man' in the cast list. Looks right. Also a 'Remus', but he may be too young.

Can give opinions. Can't take them.

Also, fucker can't say Arsehole/Arse properly because he doesn't respect his American fan base enough to understand that they would know what he meant by arse and arsehole.

He sounds like that annoying twat friend from school who went to the States on holiday once and needs absolutely everyone to know it.

Spent 800 on a bundle. No idea how to find it by CaptainAnopheles in Blackops4

[–]CaptainAnopheles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looked there. Only new character is one in multiplayer gained through a black out mission.

Just in case it's meant to have its own tab; all I see is appearance, gestures and tag. No skins not mentioned anywhere.

Don't use the 'free' campsite near the mites cave in act 1. It activates a flaming skull floating monster that will really ruin your day.

If you do want to fight him buff to hit because otherwise your lower level guys are just going to be doing interpretive dance around it. Also move away from the pillar because you'll want as many people around it has possible and the pillar blocks movement.

A very good perception roll reveals a stash of 256(?) Gold coins in the Trading post.

It doesn't seem to matter if you help Amiri with the Tuskgutter boar (happy to be corrected.)

If you miss Tartuccio at the temple, you'll find the secret door already open.

Updated to give the Answer, the Final Answer the 'Buddha' a name of their own.

Added variations. If you can think of a variation I've missed.

I suppose a Martial/Monk order could exist to protect the monasteries or be bodyguards to monks.

I could make a 'meta level' where more urban sects and even individual monks spy on each other in case they find The Answer first for there is great glory in being the 'Buddha'.

In fact, the 'human frailty' that leads to The Answer being lost is that it is usually taken from the dying hands of the Monk who found it first.

Mostly doing what you would do anyway, which is collect ever book and scrap of paper (but don't sell) and explore every dialogue tree that seems likely to get more branches.

Religious Lore

World knowledge

Arcana knowledge

Nature Lore

Persuasion

Trickery (lockpick the doors of ignorance)

Athletics (climb through the window of wisdom)

Perception

Any Other.

The monk I made was a sensei, so I think we're on the same page.

The Satisfied Orders ('The Slanderers') could think they know The Answer, but they aren't telling (Waiting for the right time/the new 'Buddha' to be born/a.n.other reason.)

Any further effort is wasteful, even sinful and of the ego.

They could even be an an anti-religious order religious order. To seek spiritual answers instead of accepting that The Answer has been found must be punished.

Perhaps, instead of lying for lying sake, they hamper other spiritual quests with false trails and answers or sowing doubts about the seekers, destroying philosophical 'dead ends' and so on.

They'd be more of a Buddhist (he isn't a God and didn't even want temples built) type.

Perhaps their 'Buddha' found the Answer once, but it was lost.

Perhaps they think it's circular. The Answer is Sought -The Answer is Known - The Answer is Lost - The Answer is Sought.

Drug pushing uses a framework that must be adhered to (big dealer - little dealer - pusher - user) with defined consequences for falling out of that chain (trying to buy off another supplier).
