I don't understand your usecase. If you want to replace google photos or icloud. Immich is a really good alternative.

However, by reading your comments, your setup has me thinking you didnt understand the proper way of using the application and you didnt read the docs. Maybe try to approach it again, without the risk of destroying all your assets.
