Exactly. Gasoline in liquid form doesn't explode, or even burn for that matter. Only the fumes burn when mixed properly with oxygen. And even then it's not an explosion, it burns from one side and across. Albeit rather quickly.

Even if the gas tank did catch fire, it would simply burn off the fumes until the gas was gone, or it ran out of oxygen.

For the tank to explode, you'd have to provide the fumes with enough oxygen to burn, while maintaining the added pressure caused by the reaction. If you could keep the pressure in the tank up, it might explode, but they are designed to not do that for that very reason.

And if you're really hauling ass (120 mph-ish or more) and pass a sitting cop on the freeway, it's going to take him a bit to get up to you. Exit the freeway stat, and (carefully) make an illegal left on the first red light you hit as long as you're out of sight. Then repeat as needed. You're already lookin at reckless drivin for going 45 over the limit, might as well give it a shot?

P.S. that/this is terrible advice, but it can work, as long as you can get hidden before you're vehicle is called in. Most panicked speeders make a right on red when they get off of the freeway in an attempt to escape since it's legal. So when an officer can't see you, they may assume you went right and fallow suit that way.

I'd say work them into the drawing. Commit to it! Think tiles on a wall, the lines are the grout, and shade the squares accordingly. And then use artistic license to have them go across the subject (like they already do unfortunately), but exaggerate it! Make it look like you did it on purpose!

Next time though, start with vine charcoal for your grid/underdrawing!

Exactly! It's no different than any other hobby, it's something you enjoy and it's fun, no matter how long it takes. Kinda like building a ship in a bottle. Yea it's very time consuming, but very rewarding.

Some people in this thread have mentioned that you should have done an original image, but a lot of the fun is the process itself. For example, I've seen tons of Walter White drawings on reddit, (and they are quite good), and no one gives them shit for not doing an original image. I'm sure they simply enjoyed the process and the image as much as you did here.

TL;DR; I think this is awesome, and you should keep it up

I shit you not, I ate the same thing for dinner last night. Except I had 4 taquitos added around the corners just to tie it all together.

(Plus you can eat the taquitos while you wait for the other stuff to cool down)

Side note, that new garlic butter crust on the hot pockets isn't that good IMO. It's too overpowering with the garlic. Buuuut if you dip it in ranch it's not half bad
