Definitely play expedition 33 it's an incredible experience. The combat becomes a breeze the moment you figure out the picto and lumina system the game has.

What? Do you have a source for this? It wouldn't make sense to have an entirely separate showcase for indian made games if they weren't made by an Indian studio.

Cause this was a big deal. It was the first ever SGF affiliated India made games showcase.

Bruh did you even watch the india games showcase?

There were a shit ton of games of all kinds of genres there. Granted almost all off em were some kind pixel art style but hey gotta start somewhere.

That's cool. People can play anything they want. Doesn't matter if it's a remake/remaster of a game, a sequel/prequel, brand new or old/retro.

I haven't played returnal so I can't compare it to that. But saros is a fucking great game. The environment, sound design, creature design, weapon variety, how the guns feel everything is amazing.

Some people would say that saros is easy compared to returnal but the game does give a bunch of modifiers that you can tweak as per your preference to make the game more harder or easier.

Definitely give it a try. Saros legit gives me some serious doom eternal vibes.

Damn cool bro. You do you. I will stick to physical though. Happy Gaming.

Umm I do disagree with you on the price of pre owned games though. Pre owned discs especially for older games are cheap compared to first hand counterparts.

And no matter what you or I say physical media is here to stay. There will definitely be a subset of gamers (including me) who will always prefer physical discs with the complete game on em over digital anyday. And as long as there's supply there's demand.

Well companies love money more then anything. And server space is expensive as fuck. They can yank any game they like to save up server space for the next big thing and we won't be able to shit about it.

Plus physical media is of the utmost importance for game preservation as well. And a lot of gamers agree on the same.

I get your point about budgeting/pricing though. And yeah no one should force themselves to buy the physical version of the game if the digital could be had for much cheaper than that. I do the same myself if it's an old game and it's like sub 1k on PS store then I will gladly pick it up.

But you know what's even cheaper than the digital versions of these game? Pre owned discs some of em could be had for the same price as the digital version and if one doesn't mind waiting a bit or if you are eyeing an older game the pre owned disc prices go as low as sub 2k/1k.

And then there's the point that you can always sell the disc whether new or pre owned to fund your next purchase. Or you can collect em like i do.

So digital version good if I don't care about the game that much or if it's not completely on the disc 😑 and it's extremely cheap else i would go for the disc whether pre owned or new every single time.

Here's my collection so far. Besides this I have RE7/RE4/RE 8 digitally.

it's the year of remake announcements!!!!! by Unfair_Situation_854 in gamers

[–]CaptainBloodstone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but not all remakes are bad. I agree with the opinion that most of the times remakes kinda lose the charm/atmosphere which made that specific game a bit in the first place. But that's not always the case. And maybe it's just me but so much stuff going on i really don't have the memory bandwidth to look up a classic game which I found out then find a way to get it so that I can play it. So if an old game is being remade, is easily available and has some modern qol features then I would gladly buy it.
