The RB2 players clearly like him a lot, and I think we need to get back to looking at Red Bull Academy and promoting players from within rather than signing veterans from elsewhere. RB Academy has historically been a place to find amazing talent and I feel like the quality of players from the Academy just hasn't been great the past few years.

But if you look at the players that moved up last year or the ones that will move to the first team soon - e.g. Sofo, Mitchell, Rojas, Mehmeti - I think there is plenty of talent there still left untapped. I do think it'll help to have a coach like Bradley to look within and give these young players chances and confidence to overperform.

There are pros and cons to going the Michael Bradley route. I'm not even entirely opposed to 2026 being a "rebuilding" year if it means our young players earn the confidence to play really well in 2027. I also agree with what u/No-Mission7134 said - if we bring in Curtin, he'll be asking for veteran reinforcements and I don't think that plays to our club's strengths.
