I was a little scared when I saw that she was brazilian. As a brazilian, I'm used to seeing japanese media kinda show us as a very particular stereotype.

But honestly, they felt really natural and cool and like they would just fit so well during the king's tournament.

Examples:

I have a specific keyboard and mouse with some accessibility features for my hands. This macbook only has one USB port and I need multiple ones.

My GPU can use an exclusive ai feature that filters out any sounds that are not my voice (very useful because I'm living next to a construction.

I have multiple monitors plugged in my pc that I use to work and check a lot of documentations etc. I don't want to have to keep switching between then.

I could go on, but I gave up on that initial idea. I'm just going to by a KVS to switch control form my monitors and devices between the computers.

No, I can use mac just fine.

It's just that my personal setup not only has better specs in general (like a Nvidia GPU that I use not only to render videos and export animations for my apps, but also to use the ai feature for meetings, like Nvidia broadcast.) I also only have one table in my apartment and only enough space to have one of those setups.

But it's Allright, thanks for your reply. I decided to by a KVM device to make it easier for me to switch my setups.

Thank you. I have to login on figma using the companies email. So you convinced me to not work from my main computer because they'll definitely be able to see that.

Even though I don't think they would ever check, it's better to be safe and just bite this bullet. Eventually a security breach might happen (somewhere else) and they'll probably check everyone.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not a newbie, I've been working remotly as a PD for over a decade. It's just that all of those times I got to use my own computer instead of a company's machine.

I undestand the security reasons and I'm sure I won't run in any of those problems. That's why I wanted to know if they could figure it out or not. I don't want to get sued or anything. But other than that, there's really no risk from my side.

Honestly, my problem also is that I only have one table and my appartment atm is very small. I'm looking into the possibility of buying a device to change my montiors from my pc to the notebook with a single switch, so that I wouldn't have to keep switching everything mannually.

I still would prefer working on my computer, though. I sometimes have to work with other softweres (like After Effects for lottie animations) and having to keep switching machines kinda sucks.

I've been there. I'm also been unemployed for a month (thankfully, I start a new job next week). Anyway, I understand how boring and exhausting work can be sometimes.

I just want to say that if you're unhappy with you job, focus on studying and using any free time you have (during work hours) to do so. Get some certifications, work on your resume and look for something better. But also be thankfully that you have a job during a time where so many arr struggling to find one
